Today we got two pizzas, some sourdough bread, and a dessert from here. Everything was high quality and absolutely delicious. The flavors were great and the ingredients tasted very fresh. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
Reviews / Ratings for Roberto Pizza Romana
The pizza tastes great and the ingredients are fresh, but it’s way too expensive for what you get. The portions are tiny, more like an appetizer than a meal, and the bill is huge....you'll leave hungry and broke.
The pizza looks delicious, tastes delicious and fresh. Crust is light. It’s very good, despite the tiny portions for the price. With the name of the place, and how fresh the pizza is, I wrongly assumed the coffee would be authentic also. Cappuccino was disgusting. For $6 each per drink I felt ripped off. You cannot mask horrible coffee in a high quality cup. This wasn’t made using an espresso machine and hand frothed. I’d guess it’s made using an automatic machine. I should’ve guessed as much when I didn’t hear a broiler or the tell-tale signs of an espresso machine running in the background. I think for a spot clearly serving fresh food, take the espresso based drinks off the menu and serve filtered coffee, update the price to reflect it or let customers know it’s made using an automatic machine so coffee lovers don’t leave disappointed and tainting the delicious pizza experience with bad espresso. Pizza, expensive but packed with flavour. Absolutely delicious - 5 stars on the pizza. It lost stars on the coffee for me.
This is a new and wonderful Gem here in Chelsea. A careful hand has created a Really lovely decor. A touch of European French and Italian cuisine. To see Roberto and the team dressing pizza through glass is a delicate view into an old world craft. Excellent potato bread. Yummy meatballs in tomato sauce with some excellent mystery ingredient that brought the experience to a new level. Also, for to satisfy your sweet tooth, there is a really good hazelnut/ Nutella pizza creation for desert. These folks are masterful in the kitchen. Choose the Beautiful outdoor patio to take in a spring, summer or autumn afternoon or wine and dine indoors. Bottles of wine+beer for sale. Now, in the winter there is often a hardwood fire glowing in the front yard. Please be seated on a thick + comfortable cushion. A nice greeting. February 25, *I just enjoyed some very awesome donuts. Pistachio nut, with a cream filling and sugar coating. I'm not a big donut fan, not at all really. Too often, I find the 'sweet' can be too heavy handed; but not @Roberto's. The balance of sweet, to dough, to filling is remarkable. Just beautiful !
Really really good.
Discovered this lovely spot for pizza while exploring Chelsea. It was our first time trying Roman pizza and it did not disappoint — the ingredients tasted fresh and the crust had a lovely crisp. Definitely on the pricier side, but worth it.
The food is absolutely perfect ! Perfection to the details ! Amazing pizza and bread.. Great selection of imported wine. A gem to discover!
This is such a cute lil place. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and the desserts were to die for. Yes it’s expensive but I think one is paying for the freshness of the ingredients, it’s so farm fresh. Really wanna visit again soon. Also met the owner she was so nice and was so thrilled to know that we loved the food.
Amazing.
Great pizza, beet salad and service. Sadly very long wait times for breads and sweets. We left after waiting 10 minutes. We're hopeful to return and get some sweets.
Best pizza in the National Capital Region!
