Came for a late lunch after arriving in Montreal and it was fantastic. Our server was great and he provided us with recommendations and kept things light and funny. The food was great; we had the Reuben and The Charlie. Both of us were stuffed.

The waitress was very ignorant when it came to our table . We were the only ones here who were not from here . Got service late. Served our food later than people who came after us . We only ordered one singular sandwich and waited for 30 minutes and wasted our time in here. I had raised my hand twice for to ask the bill and even tho he looked at me he did not even came to our table and asked if we needed any help. He is just standing around in every other table but ours. This is so weird and rude towards people who are not from here . You guys should check your employees if they are racist .

Dear Sümeyye, We are very sorry to hear about your experience here, there is no excuse for poor service and this is a topic we completely agree with you on. Rest assured we will take all necessary measures to make sure this does not happen again. We hope you visit us one day again to see that we would be more than happy to make things right. That being said, we do need to draw a line at flagrant accusations of racism. This is both very dangerous and irresponsible, especially by including a photo which violates that individuals right to privacy. We would appreciate it if you removed the photo. We will have a conversation with your server based on his lackluster service etiquette, please know that our multicultural team is reflective of our company values and this extends to everyone here, including him.

Reuben’s Restaurant and Delicatessen & Steakhouse in Montreal is an absolute must-visit. They serve some of the best smoked meat in Canada—tender, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and piled high just the way it should be. Every bite truly reflects Montreal’s legendary smoked meat tradition. Beyond the main dishes, the variety of desserts is outstanding. From classic favorites to indulgent treats, there’s something for everyone, and they’re the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. The service made the experience even better. Gustavo and Andres were excellent servers—friendly, attentive, and genuinely professional. They made us feel welcome from start to finish and ensured everything was perfect. Amazing food, great desserts, and top-notch service. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went in for steak and ordered the Sullivan cut with shrimp, mashed potatoes, fries, some veggies. The waiter was very knowledgeable, freindly and prompt. We absolutely loved the food and service and recommend this restaurant for awesome steak. There was no reservation needed around 6 pm even on new year's Eve but they had reservations after 7.30 pm.

Great for out of town guests to get your fill of Delicious smoked meat. The classic smoked meat sandwich is a winner and the cocktails are nice and strong.

By far the best smoked meat in Montréal. Potato soup awesome. Jewish seasoned ground beef. Generous césar salad. Stewart's soft drinks!!!
