Being a Mauritian who phoned to inquire about the availability of briyani for the weekend. The restaurant owner, however, began to ask a series of personal questions, how long we are in Canada, what's my occupation which company i worked for, do you have kids, what about your husband, where he works.. .. and my place of origin in Mauritius. He even told me did you guys cone to canada with your luggage to be like tourists or you intend to do business like me... he flattered himself that he was owner of a gas station, he is now retire work in his restaurant and have other businesses. Man, do what makes you happy. It does not mean that every Mauritians folks must have same goals as yours or need to walk in your shoes. You can be in Canada for 27 years but seemingly unchanged mindset and behaviors. Not everyone appreciate such intrusive questions, especially we are not familiar with you, never meet with you. I personally never inquire about others' personal lives, unless they divulge their perso stuff themselves. Your best job as retirement will be CID in Mauritius. Thankfully we didn't come to your restaurant and will never Alle travail CID mo camarade

Very comforting atmosphere. Fantastic food, flavour and plating. Cheap!🤯 service 5 stars the owner is a super nice guy. Very happy I ate here.

The best. Service was exceptional. And the food was delicious. Best we had in Montreal. You are missing out, if you do not stop in and eat.
