Beautiful place with the warmest service, but the absolute STAR is the lanaudois beef burger. Made with local beef with a secret sauce, it is BY FAR the best burger I’ve ever had. Truly outstanding. My only gripe with the place is I wish they had local beers and ciders, for which the region is famous.

Whenever I’m in the Rawdon area, La Queen is a must-go place for me. It has a relaxed feel, great food and drinks, fair prices, and staff who always make me feel welcome. One of the best parts is the friendly service. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been helpful, patient, and easy to talk to. My French is limited, but the staff are always willing to help and make sure I understand everything. I’ve never felt rushed or uncomfortable, and that makes a big difference. The menu has a good range of choices, including burgers, tacos, poutine, fish and chips, tartares, salmon, cod, and other dishes. There’s enough variety for different tastes without the menu feeling too complicated. I also find the prices very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. The bar has lots of choices too, including cocktails, sangria, beer, cider, and wine. The prices are fair, and there’s something for almost everyone. I also like having the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The terrace is a great spot when the weather is nice, while the indoor area is comfortable and casual. Overall, La Queen is a place I keep coming back to whenever I’m in Rawdon. For me, it’s a must-go spot because of the good food, reasonable prices, relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff.

We have never felt such as careless and unprofessional service! We arrived for lunch with kids and waited about 10-15 min to have the menu, meanwhile the “waiter” was speaking to other customers next to us for that long! I personally showed discomfort with the situation that I decided to go for the menu myself. As soon other people arrived to the place, menu were given less than 2 minutes, we really noticed something was going on! After my reaction, he appeared to our table 5 min later with no apology. He took our order and we waited about 45 min meanwhile later other customers were served first for same type of order; burgers! We started looking each other and to the other tables when the “waitress” came back to say that he did a mistake and was asking us again for the order! There were only 5 tables! It was not busy to understand why this situation. Of course after 1 hr waiting with not food and also with a wrong order on hand, you won’t stay! There is not apology or compensation that remedy such as poor service! Surprise! The “waiter” resulted to be the OWNER! … Unbelievable!

We ordered the Duck Burger and the Beef Burger. Both excellent dishes. Although the duck burger could use a sturdier heel as the sandwich fell apart way to easy. Thr beef was local and fantastique!! Definitely will come again. And a big thanks to our server Michelle who was outstanding!!

Visiting from deep river ontario and was recommended to come to this restaurant for breakfast. From the minute we walked in till we left, everybody was wonderful, thank you natalie you rock.

Service was great. Atmosphere was nice. Food was mediocre, though for a small town with not too many options, I suppose not bad. Overall we did enjoy our visit.
