I stopped by on my own on a weekday evening just to have a cocktail, and I had a really lovely experience. My waiter was incredibly kind and made a couple of jokes that genuinely lifted my spirits after a difficult week. Even though I was alone and there was a large group sitting next to me, he made sure I was well taken care of and didn’t leave me waiting for my order. I really appreciated the attentiveness and kindness. I would definitely come back!

They accommodated our lunch group of 10 people with ease and friendliness. Outdoor seating is perfect for taking in the city’s energy. The food was great and so was the coffee!

Nce little place, very nice patio. My burger paddy covered less than 1/2 the buns. Very good, but way too small. Other plates were ok.

I don’t usually review places but I had to do this one. Went for lunch here and I don’t think I have had such disgusting food ever. Ravioli came out of freezer and Nachos I dont have words to explain how disappointing they were. Service was alright. I feel bad for waiters as they have to face disappointed customers.

Great place for brunch and coffee. The classic breakfast comes with awesome sourdough. Staff are extremely patient and friendly. Let them know you’re learning French and they would gladly wait for you to finish ordering. If you like poached eggs, find a way to ask for it in French because you will get fried runny eggs instead.

Did not enjoy my visit service was very unprofessional, did not have cheeses so nor yogurt. So we couldn’t choose what we like to order because they didn’t have the items. I ended up ordering the bagel with salmon. The salmon was discoloured it did not look fresh at all. I truly lost my appetite. I got out of there hungry. And they brought us a latte that we did not order left it in the table and left. So when he came back we mentioned to him that we did not order this. He said ok and pick up the latte and went to the door and turned around and gave it to the person beside us. I was shocked. Not recommended at all.

Even though the only unmodified gluten free items on the menu are the salads, the staff was super accommodating in modifying certain certain dishes to be gluten free. They were able to give me the pesto chicken sandwich without bread and grilled chicken instead of fried. It tasted great and the side salad was very fresh. Will definitely be back!

Me and my friend, We stopped by this café for breakfast by chance last week on our first morning in Montreal after arriving from Vancouver, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The two staff members were incredibly kind and welcoming. One of them mentioned they would be visiting their sibling in Vancouver soon, and they even gave us great recommendations for places to visit around Montreal. After a few disappointing experiences elsewhere, this was the first place where we truly felt welcomed. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality—we’ll definitely remember this place!

We stopped by this café by chance for breakfast on our first morning after arriving in Montreal from Vancouver, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. No fault of the server, this was just awful. Went for breakfast this morning. Ordered bacon and eggs. Came cold without the bacon. Girlfriend ordered the French toast. It looked like anything but French toast. Understaffed for sure. They took the coffees off the bill. But couldn't do it on the machine so gave us cash...Then went to pay and the machine wouldn't connect. Had to go stand closer to the building so the wifi worked. Can't see this place staying open very long.

Had such a great experience at Café de Montréal! The food and atmosphere were wonderful, but what really made our visit special was the outstanding service. Julian was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. He made us feel genuinely welcome, and his warm attitude made our experience even better. Thank you, Julian, for the amazing service we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

I stopped by around 11 iah and had an amazing experience thanks to Julian. From the moment I sat down, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to explain the menu, recommend drinks, and answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. His positive attitude and genuine hospitality made the whole experience so enjoyable. It's rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do and goes above and beyond to make customers feel comfortable. Julian is definitely the reason I'll be coming back. If you're visiting this bar, I highly recommend asking for him you won't be disappointed. Outstanding service from start to finish!

Poor service, warm beers, after be neglected for over 20 min.. asked for the bill.. When I explained to Julian how upset we were about the service and warm beers.. I was told I can speak up and call him over.. and that I have 2 legs and I could of got up and gone to the bar…

Went here for our last night in Montreal and it was terrible. Our server was good but the food was just bad. They were short staffed which didn’t help but the food was barely edible. Caesar salad was a plate of romaine. Clubhouse sandwich bread was too hard to eat, the chicken was inedible and the quesadilla was cold. Only bad meal we had in Montreal. Hopefully they improve.
