This spot was 10/10. Visiting the city from Ontario and was wandering around to find a bite to eat and maybe a cocktail. The bartender, Patrick, was fabulous! Made some absolutely delicious strawberry margaritas and a passion fruit martini on the fly since I didn’t know what to order. Knowledgable and extremely personable! Got the presto chicken sandwich with some fries and man, the sauce served with the fries was SO GOOD! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a small spot with great food and service!

The absolute best staff and service. As someone only just visiting Montreal they were so hospitable. Ended up coming every day.

The service is abysmal. The servers deliberately ignore us, refuse to even acknowledge our presence. we wait 15 minutes and cannot even get a table or a menu, meanwhile there are plenty of available places. I will not be coming back. This is a bad way of doing business and the only thing that saves them is the good location. Its a shame.

We go two orders of the Montreal bagels and two lattes. Some of the best lattes we’ve had! I am back for two more for my husband and I!

We apologize for the experience you had, it’s not an excuse but it was the first sunny Friday and it also was during the happy hour and the waiters were a bit overwhelmed cause we had a couple of big reservations coming at once. We tried to explain to you that you were 2pp sitting on a table for 5-6pp and were gladly offering you a table for 2 pp Again we as CDM management do apologize for the inconvenience. We will do our best for that not happe again. Hope to see again and definitely we’ll make sure for you to have a beautiful experience CDM team

It’s a cute corner location with lots of windows however, my boyfriend and I had somewhat mixed feelings about the food and drink. I personally found that the chai latte is the best I’ve ever had. The croissant sandwich with mortadella was very tasty but quite greasy and slightly messy to eat, but overall good. My boyfriend however was disappointed with the mango smoothie which was rather bland. Also, the bagel with salmon was too rich and a tad boring for the price. The breakfast menu was quite limited with less than 10 food options. I would go back to try their lunch or dinner menu instead.

Genuinely one of my favorite spots in downtown. Not only was the food amazing and portions big but the service was so friendly. It felt like being welcomed into a family, like a piece of home away from home.

Good place to take a break, cozy, has a positive vibe, and great service. Food is great, the ragú poutine is amazing as well as the soup of the day (cauliflower)
