we had saturday lunch grand prix weekend and have to say i was blown away ..The Pastrami is as good as any smoked meat in the city and the braised beef and Latkes were epic i will be back very very soon

Yans Deli is consistently excellent. Chef Benji, formerly head chef at Joe Beef, brings a creative but approachable menu that works just as well for brunch, lunch, or dinner. There’s a good range of options across price points, and the space suits everything from family meals to business lunches or dates. Easily one of the better spots around.

Kept hearing people talk about Yans Deli and finally decided to try it for dinner. Honestly, everything was ridiculously good. The steak was juicy and full of flavor, the burger tasted homemade in the best way possible, and even the fries stood out. The place itself isn’t trying too hard — it’s just good food done properly. You can tell there’s real effort behind the menu and the quality of the ingredients. Service was super warm and welcoming too. Definitely one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit. Looking forward to trying brunch next time!

Hidden gem in Montreal. The steaks were honestly some of the best we’ve had — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served sizzling hot. The pastrami was fresh and packed with flavor, and you can tell everything is made with real care and attention. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, but the food feels upscale without being pretentious. Service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a spot that combines authentic deli comfort food with incredible steakhouse quality, Yans Deli is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back.

Had an amazing brunch experience at Yan’s Deli! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and welcoming. The restaurant has such a great vibe — perfect for a relaxing weekend brunch with friends or family. The food was honestly outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into each dish. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The coffee and drinks were also excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. What really made the experience stand out was the service. The staff were so kind, attentive, and friendly throughout the entire visit. Even though the place was busy, everything came out quickly and the team made us feel very well taken care of.

We loved it, my parents loved it, my kids loved it! That’s a rare gem of a restaurant. I wish my grandparents were still around, because we’d come here every weekend, and they’d love it too. Everything was beyond expectation, and you could feel the craft and attention to detail behind each dish. Everything was fresh and full of flavours…equally nostalgic & modern. Can’t recommend Yans more.

We had a delicious dinner and the staff were so friendly. Food was so good - we couldn’t eat it all so we took some home. We were blown away by how good it was and will definitely be going back!

Yans Deli is an absolute hidden gem. The food was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted authentic and well seasoned, with generous portions and great quality ingredients. The staff was welcoming, polite, and provided excellent service from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was clean, organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere that made the experience even better. It’s hard to find a place this consistent in both food and customer service. OMG, the pastrami, a house specialty, is to die for. It literally melts in your mouth. It is the best I have ever had. From Ottawa, I was able to bring a significant vacuum sealed amount back home to enjoy for the next few days. Only a few minutes away from the new Royalmount mall and close to Decary, it’s the perfect place to stop before hitting the highway home or after shopping at the mall. Another bonus, the owner is a former chef from the famous Joe Beef restaurant.

We had the pleasure of trying the catering from Yan's. It was all very delicious. High praise for the club sandwich and the latkes. Everything tasted very fresh, salad, salmon, smoked meat, sausage, deli sandwiches, the portions and prices were excellent. I would certainly recommend it for the catering and will have to try a meal there soon.

Came for the pastrami, and was not disappointed. The meat was divine, perfectly tender and flavourful. Complemented nicely w a mustard that took nothing away from the meat. Truly masterful. Can't wait to come back and try other offerings. Now THIS is what a deli is all about. GREAT JOB

My goodness, what incredible food! Yans made several of the best dishes/types of food I’ve ever had. Their pastrami, latkes, and chicken noodle soup all fell into that category. Their espresso drinks and the desserts were fantastic. We loved the decor in the restaurant, comfortable, stylish, and with and with personal flair. The servers were welcoming and accommodating of the two toddlers we were with. They both loved the grilled cheese sandwiches they had too. I’ll be dreaming about this food for a while.

We love Yana. Best food, great quality and care goes into each dish!! Their BLT is the best I’ve tasted! And how sweet is it that all meals are served on Ben’s ( the owner) grandmother’s dishes! Definitely recommend trying out Yans. You won’t be disappointed!!

My husband and I had been at Yann’s a few times for lunch and had absolutely loved it, so when I saw that they had a menu for Passover I didn’t hesitate to order. We had the schnitzel, the pastrami (the best I have ever had, anywhere, hands down) and the brisket (phenomenal). Everyone loved the food and we won’t hesitate to order again. We will be back for a pastrami sandwich and Matza ball soup for sure!!
