Worst “Italian” restaurant EVER!!! If Google allowed a 0-star rating, that’s exactly what this place would get. We were a table of 9 and almost everything we ordered was disappointing. The calamari starter was essentially half a portion of calamari served with a pile of arugula. The pizza was closer to pita bread with toppings than anything resembling proper Italian pizza. We paid $30 for a Margherita and simply asked if the mozzarella could be substituted with a bit of Parmesan. Instead, the chef dumped what looked like an entire bowl of Parmesan on my wife’s pizza and topped it with burnt basil leaves (see photo). Completely inedible. The pasta was just as bad. My kids ordered penne rosé, but they were served penne primavera. When we pointed it out, the waitress said we must not have read the menu properly because their rosé sauce is “served like primavera.” Whatever it was supposed to be, it was terrible. The pesto sauce tasted more like Alfredo than pesto. When the waiter/manager asked if everything was good, we were honest and said it wasn’t. His response? A sarcastic comment saying “the only people who complain are usually from Montreal” and that locals keep coming back. Well, if that’s the standard, good luck. This place is a complete rip-off and absolutely not worth the money. Stay far away!!!
