I have never had such a horrible service and experience in my life just because i craved with my partner some overpriced sushi. We were essentially discarded from the restaurant by the waiters who decided to start cleaning up our table AS we were STILL eating with FOOD on the plates. Also, i really loved that they pushed the bill on us and made me pay while i had A WHOLE PIECE of SUSHI in my mouth as I am swiping my card and i couldnt even talk because my mouth was so full and the waiter appeared out of nowhere with the machine…I really dont understand what made them think it was acceptable to push us out like that… to be so disrespectful and rude - was it because we were a young couple so they tought they could treat us less respectfully as the older couples there? … rest assured never again.

I’ve dined in at Torii many times and have always had a great experience. It’s a great BYOB restaurant in Laval. It has been a while since I ordered take out or ate at the restaurant but I ordered take out this past weekend for the first time in a while and the quality has significantly declined since. The quality of the fish seemed to not be as fresh, there was a particular smell to my special rolls (corail, rainbow), but not the fuego rolls which were tasty. The sauces they came with also were extremely watery, and overall I felt sick after having a few rolls and did not finish them. I do not think I’ll be back after this experience unfortunately.

If you eat sushi once in a while, this place is ok / slightly elevated sushi chain. Not for you if you're a serious sushi lover.

I've been many times to Torii Sushi and got the exact same service and quality of food every single time. The service is excellent, the menu is original with a big variety and the sushi is simply elegant, colorful and most importantly delicious. One of my favourite sushi restaurants in the Montreal-Laval area. Love love love!

The sushi was delicious, even during lunch service. It's a wonderful spot for a meal with friends or family. While the service was a bit slow because of the crowd, the servers were outstanding. Thanks to the quality of the food & the service, I will definitely return🧡

Food, Service & Atmosphere should be classified as top notch. Table was ready, service was impeccable, & the restaurant is stunning 😍. 1st time here, but not the last.

BYOW RESTAURANT You’ll never get tired of this place. Their sushi is amazing—full of unique flavours you won’t find anywhere else. No soy sauce needed; the ingredient combinations are perfectly balanced on their own. The décor is lovely and the ambiance is beautiful. Reservation is recommended. Parking can be a bit difficult to find on weekends.
