Incredible food - especially the three ways lamb / rabbit - just exceptional. The servers were friendly, knowledgable, down to earth. The price is affordable, and the ambiance is simple and does a lot to enhance the excellent presentation. We came for lunch and found the meal quite filling and a great way to end our few days in Montreal!

We stopped by Toqué! last Saturday afternoon with our two kids and honestly weren't sure a fancy spot like that would work for us, but the staff pulled out a booster seat and crayons without us even asking. The tasting portions were small enough that the little ones didn't get restless, and my daughter actually ate the duck dish without complaint, which never happens. The dining room has this calm, bright atmosphere that made it easy to relax even with kids at the table. We'll definitely be back for another quick family lunch when we're craving something a notch above the usual.

Toque! is an incredible experience you won't soon forget. The service was efficient and they made us feel very comfortable. The ambience is exceptional - there are many areas that help keep the murmur of noise to a minimum, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing meal while also giving a strong sense of activity and buzz. They have an amazing wine list. The food was incredible. We look forward to going again when we return to Montreal!

Took the kids for an early dinner last weekend since they do a nice window before it gets busy, and the staff still treated us like regulars even with two restless kids in tow. The duck dish my husband ordered disappeared in about five minutes flat, that's how good it was. It's definitely more upscale than our usual quick family spot, but they never made us feel rushed or out of place. We'll be back, probably without the kids next time so we can actually enjoy the pace of it.

Finally made it to Toqué! after hearing about it for years, and the tasting menu totally lived up to the hype, especially this duck dish that came out perfectly pink with a maple glaze. We went around 7pm on a Saturday and the dining room had this warm, low lit energy that felt special without being stuffy. Our server actually walked us through the wine pairings without being pushy about upselling, which made the whole thing feel more like a conversation than a sales pitch. Already planning to go back for a weekday lunch since I heard the prix fixe is a bit more wallet friendly.

Stopped by the host at lac aux Castor Saturday afternoon and the patio let us sit right next to our dog while we waited for a table, which was a nice surprise for downtown Montreal. We ended up sharing a tasting menu that included this duck dish that was ridiculously tender, and the server kept checking in on us without being pushy about it. The dining room has this calm, upscale but not stuffy vibe that made the whole afternoon feel relaxed even with a slightly anxious pup at our feet. Parking nearby was easy to find for a Saturday, and honestly we're already talking about going back for a weeknight dinner.

A really cool & unique culinary experience! We did the 6 course with regular wine pairings. Each member of staff was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and very attentive. Not to mention, the food was delicious!

Toque has become an unforgettable dining experience. The food is absolutely outstanding. Each dish was plated well and every ingredient used created a depth of flavor and textures. If you plan on visiting, don’t skip on the tasting menu. I highly recommend dining here and experiencing it to its full potential. The service was also great. My only critique would be that the servers could be a bit more engaging. Will be returning!

Went here Friday night with a couple of friends and the tasting menu completely blew us away, especially the lobster course that came out perfectly balanced. The dining room has this warm, quiet buzz to it that made a three hour dinner fly by without ever feeling rushed. Our server walked us through wine pairings without being pushy about it and genuinely seemed excited to talk about the ingredients. We ended up lingering over coffee near 10pm just soaking in the atmosphere before finally asking for the check.

Stopped by for a late Sunday brunch around 11am and the dining room was already humming with that easygoing weekend energy, sunlight pouring in and not a stuffy vibe in sight. The maple-glazed sweetbreads were the standout, rich and perfectly balanced, and our server actually walked us through the sourcing on a few ingredients without sounding rehearsed. Service was attentive but never hovering, which after years of eating out on the road I've learned is rarer than it should be. Worth planning a trip around, honestly, and I'll be back next time I'm through Montreal.

Food is excellent as usual as is the service! The decor, however, is starting to show its age, but still worthy of 4 stars. The Cold Melon Soup is the latest addition and I must say, it is surprise after surprise as you slowly work on it.

My wife and I had an amazing anniversary dinner at Toqué! The wine pairing was spot on with the tasting menu. We really appreciated the creative use of local ingredients in a thought provoking manner. It seems that this place is less well known than we’d expect it to be. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a special night out.

I had the tasting menu with wine pairing and everything about the experience was incredible. Perfect dishes, really well matched wine pairing, and the restaurant staff were great to chat with. Everything was notable. This place is definitely slept on in Montreal.

Don’t let the understated look of the restaurant fool you. Toqué! is all about what happens on the plate. The cuisine is not only delicious but also showcases local ingredients in creative and original ways. Every combination of flavors felt perfectly balanced, and the wine pairings elevated the experience even more. The service was attentive and professional throughout the meal. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had.

The white chocolate truffle with freeze-dried strawberry was the only thing better than the Tigers winning tonight. I am much more fun than the dessert, and honestly, the best part of any night out. If you are a cool guy who keeps up, I am open to a conversation.

Terrible experience, from the moment I walked in I was greeted with warmth and seated promptly. My server immediately came over as did the server's assistant to bring bottled water, bread. I can go further in depth to include the sommelier who recommended outstanding wine and Marriane who indulged me in conversation though she was serving another table. Toqué! has elevated my expectation of the dining experience that cuts across food, service and atmmosphere. Wonderful dinner: Grilled lobster with oyster mushrooms, sweet and sour elderberry, verjuice, miso sauce for appetizer, Beef aged according to the cut bok choy, miso, maitake mushrooms, Swiss chard, red wine sauce for main course, for desert I had guilt free The Comtomme fried enoki, lemon balm, sour cream and mascarpone, togarashi and Raspberry cream/ Lemon cream, yuzu sponge cake, lavender, Earl Grey tea ice cream. The lobster was paired with Cuvée Domaine, Jurançon Sec follwoed by Le Bourgogne Pinot Noir "Sous Montot" du Domaine David Moreau. Thank you Toqué! for elevating my dining experience tonight.
