I was disappointed with the food quality during my visit. I also observed a staff member touch their nose and then handle drinking glasses without washing their hands first. This raised concerns for me about hygiene practices, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Genuinely nasty food. The food was cold and not authentic. I saw hairs in my food. The naan was rock solid. DO NOT eat here. The bathroom was unclean. The floors were filled with food debris. I literally saw a rat running around. The place smelled so bad , I wanted to throw up. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN😷😡

Ordered Chicken Tikka Massalla from here and it’s probably the worst I’ve ever had. Tasted like supermarket spicy cream sauce poured over tough chicken.

Absolutely outstanding. We ate here yesterday with my family, and everything was delicious. The thalis were incredible, especially the veggie thali, and honestly, every single thing we tried was excellent. I’ve eaten at MANY Indian restaurants in Montreal, and this is hands down the best I’ve had. I think I’ve officially found my new favorite Indian restaurant in the city! I’m genuinely surprised this place doesn’t have even more reviews. It deserves to be packed. Highly, highly recommend!

***UNAUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD EXPERIENCE*** ### Disappointing Experience at Singh’s Restaurant We visited Singh’s Restaurant hoping for an authentic Indian dining experience, but unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. In the name of authenticity, it is not enough to serve essentially almost the same curry with different types of marinated chicken. The dishes lacked distinct flavours. Moreover, the chicken portions were extremely small—just a few pieces of chicken in the curry. We also tried the **golgappa (regular and dahi)**, which came as only six pieces and lacked flavour. Considering the price, it was particularly disappointing when similar products can be purchased at Walmart in much larger quantities for roughly half the price. The **chicken biryani** was moist and contained only a few pieces of chicken. We also ordered **fish pakoras and chicken pakoras**, but both seemed to be marinated using essentially the same spice mixture, making them taste very similar rather than having their own distinct flavours. The other disappointment was the so-called **reshmii kababs** which are the fried chicken with salads which are essentially just cabbage and onions. For a restaurant presenting itself as an Indian dining establishment, I expected considerably more attention to flavour, preparation, authenticity, and presentation. Indian cuisine is incredibly diverse, and authenticity should mean more than simply putting different ingredients into similar curry bases. Customers—whether Indian or non-Indian—deserve food that reflects the richness and variety of the cuisine. Most importantly, restaurants should remember that customers are spending their **hard-earned money**. Serving small portions with limited flavour and minimal effort, particularly under the banner of authentic Indian cuisine, is understandably frustrating. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and puts more effort into both the food and the value offered to customers.

Really nice food and the manager was very nice and waitresses especially Gurnoor was very professional and nice. She even replace the lamb curry for my husband with no fees because he found it very spicy. Excellent atmosphere . I would come again and I recommand

Not recommended. The gravy was very poor and far too oily. I specifically asked for it to be less spicy, but it was still extremely spicy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Ordered take out and best lamb biryani EVER! Must order. They forgot reg my naan bread:( even though it’s complementary. Alas super yummmyyy cheese naan that came and also yummy butter chicken it’s super mild though. Meat is so good quality and fresh.

I came here on my trip to Montréal and, as a New Yorker, I can safely say this is the best indian food I have ever had. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and let me tell you, it was AMAZING. Can’t wait to return on my next trip to the big M!!! 🙌🙌🙌

Absolutely AMAZING, Mr Pinku was our waiter, and top professional service and meal recommendations. A place not to miss on St-Laurent Street. Food was authentic, as well as the atmosphere, and they have a terrace where you can sit and enjoy yourself. Inside the restaurant is beautiful decor, don’t miss this opportunity for amazing food and wonderful service.

I called the restaurant simply to make sure the driver would have the correct phone number so they could reach me upon arrival. Instead of helping with my question, the person on the phone immediately asked why I hadn’t tipped the driver—even though my order hadn’t even arrived yet. I explained that I prefer to tip based on the service I receive, and if that’s their expectation, I’d rather cancel the order and order somewhere else. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, the person laughed and told me to go ahead and cancel it. The interaction felt unprofessional, dismissive, and left a very poor impression. As a customer, I don’t expect to be questioned about tipping before I’ve even received my food, especially when I’m calling about a delivery-related issue. I cancelled my order before it was confirmed and chose to spend my money elsewhere. If you value respectful customer service and professional communication, you may want to consider this experience before ordering..

As someone who just arrived in Montreal from Toronto; a city with an incredibly high bar for Indian cuisine; I was really curious to see how the local spots would measure up. For my first takeout experience here, I decided to try Singh’s Indian Cuisine, and they definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the Butter Chicken, Daal Makhni, Steamed Rice, and Naan. When the food first arrived, I initially thought the portion sizes looked a bit small, but given how fair and reasonable the pricing is, the value is absolutely there. More importantly, they did not skimp on the quality. The Butter Chicken was spectacular; it featured a very generous portion of meat, and the flavor profile was absolutely spot on. Honestly, it is easily one of the best Butter Chickens I have ever tasted. The Daal Makhni was also excellent, rich, and full of authentic flavor. The sides, including the steamed rice and the naan, were just okay, but they paired well enough to soak up the amazing sauces. Overall, the incredible taste of the main dishes completely won me over. I would highly recommend Singh’s to anyone in the area, and I will absolutely be ordering from here again!

The food is so flavourful and hearty! Tastes like homemade food. It is very affordable and portions are so decent compared to the price. The owner and servers are also very friendly and polite. I highly recommend lamb korma and chicken tandoori and garlic naan.

Just ordered food from these guys at 5.30 pm and we got our food delivered at 7pm. Here is what we have for thali $12.99 + $5 (delivery) without even Naan bread.. till the time they delivered our Naan whole food was stale. Wasn't fresh and didn't even like the way they provide service. Do not consider these guys.. instead go somewhere else... it was waste of money and time... worst restaurants service of my life
