I had the Seafood Shell, it was good but a little too heavy with the cheese. My partner had the Maple Syrup Ribs. It was very good but the sauce was a little too sweet.
What guests say about Restaurant Paqbo
Restaurant Paqbo seems like a good option in Percé if you’re looking for a great view, especially of the rock and the sea, with several positive comments about the atmosphere and service. The food is often described as fresh, tasty, and well served, with well-liked seafood dishes and breakfasts. On the other hand, some reviews mention prices that are considered high, uneven portions, and service that can sometimes be slow or inconsistent. It’s therefore an interesting choice for a good meal, but the experience can vary depending on the time.

Lovely experience. The hostess and waitress spoke English. We had the Gaspiesian chowder, the lobster and the seafood shell. It was all good but the chowder was absolutely amazing. We only had the appetizer portion. We tried to go back today but they are not open at lunch. Tried a seafood chowder at another place but it did not measure up. Book a reservation early.
Restaurant Paqbo was recommended to us so we thought we would try it. All four of us loved everything. I as a rule don’t love shrimp however I took the servers recommendation and got the shrimp linguini…wow. I have never enjoyed shrimp more or maybe I was wrong all along! The chowder was so good and full of seafood. The Halibut was excellent. Highly recommend.
This place is still unrated, so I was a little skeptical about trying it, but wow.. it did not disappoint! I had the lobster, and it was cooked perfectly. My son absolutely loved the fish and chips and gave it a 10/10! 😂 Their clam chowder was also so delicious. To top it all off, the view was absolutely amazing, making the whole dining experience even better. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
The food was fresh and in generous portions. Lots of seafood. Fries were good too as well as the sugar pie for desert. Service was quick and friendly. The view of Perce rock is great. It's not 5 star dining (which in the reviews I see a lot of people assume). Prices are reasonable. I would recommend to anyone in the Perce area looking for mid-level gastronomy. You can reserve online in advance and I recommend that you do so.
Everything was great, loved it! Just think the pricing on some plates could be a touch more in line with the portion sizes :) still love it
Food was great and tasty. Servers and service was great as well. We went without a reservation and were able to find a seat. Finding a parking spot is difficult.
I usually don't do negative reviews, or long reviews, but my partner and I went on a camping trip in percé, got rained on in our tent, had our mattress rip, and this meal was still the worst part of our trip. The waitress was very nice but the food was disgusting. Looking back, I wish I took pictures or said something there, but we were so tired that we just wanted to get out of there. The pizza wasn't fully cooked but it was weird because it was a thin burnt bread with a thick layer of unmelted mozzarella and tasted awful (how do you mess up pizza this bad?). I would've rather eaten microwave pizza tbh. I ate 1/4 of it and let them take the rest away. The burger may or may not have been beef. It tasted like a thick McDonald's sausage patty and it ended up making my bf sick twice that night. The salmon tartar was fine, small but that's normal. But the bread served with it was SO stale that we couldn't even take a bite out of it. I felt like an animal trying to rip it with my teeth and I gave up 😂 I see other good reviews. The waitress mentioned it was a new cook so maybe part of it was that but god damn that was a terrible meal 😅 we had to make jokes about it after because it was also so expensive for such bad food that if we didn't, it would just put us in a bad mood. Again, the staff were very nice, it was just shockingly bad food.
The seafood dinner was incredibly fresh and delicious, and breakfast was excellent too. The smoked salmon crêpes were a standout and absolutely worth trying. Wonderful location, great food, and beautiful scenery—we would definitely return!
Service was best out of all, we were given english menu and had bilingual service however food didn't match up to the hype.
Celebrated my birthday here. Our table was overlooking the ocean. It’s a beautiful restaurant. I had the lobster and it was perfect! We also took a small side order of scallops that were Devine. The waitress was lovely. We had Irish coffee and a super evening.
Staff very polite, and professional. They were happy to serve. Me personally I wish they had a bigger option. I'm a big guy and love big breakfasts. But totally recommend..my family is from the area and I come every year and always come to this place.
