Had a wonderful experience. We ordered chicken shawarma, mutton Hakeem, and chicken Dum biryani. Every dish was super delicious and full of authentic flavors. The taste truly stands out, and you can tell the food is made with care. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity offered. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back again!!!!

A superb addition to the bustling restaurant scene in the Plateau. The Indian food scene in Montreal is (sadly) mid at the best- with a few notable exceptions. Nizam therefore is a welcome breath of fresh air! Truly authentic Hyderabadi food right down to the hospitality - the team is really warm and welcoming. I had the Biryani and the Chicken 65, and the spices and the flavours hit all the right spots. Highly recommended!

Ordered biryani, , and Apollo fish, and every single dish was outstanding. • The biryani was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and the meat was tender and flavourful. • The haleem had that rich, slow‑cooked depth that’s hard to find—comforting and absolutely delicious. • The Apollo fish was the star: crispy, well‑seasoned, and bursting with flavour.

The food is absolutely delicious, best Indian food I’ve had in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful with recs / seem to actually care. The first thing I was asked before paying was “Did you like it?” rather than “How will you be paying”. Very refreshing. idk. very vibely.

We ordered Haleem, Dum-ka- chicken with rumali roti and Chicken biryani. Haleem was hands down the best I’hv had in Montreal. Dum-ka-chicken was lip smacking ( authentic Hyderabadi Dawat style curry). The meat was tender and well flavoured for the biryani. Overall a great experience. Proper Hyderabadi food which we have been missing in Montreal!

We ordered chicken biryani, ghee kadai mutton, and butter rumali roti. The food was really good and gave us the true Hyderabadi-style biryani taste. The rumali roti and mutton felt very homemade and authentic, which made us feel like we were back home enjoying Hyderabadi food. Honestly, this is one of the best meals I’ve had in the last 5 years here. The only drawback is the waiting time, probably due to limited staff. But overall, it’s definitely a must-visit place if you love biryani and mutton dishes. ⭐ Highly recommended for authentic Hyderabadi flavors.

We had a lovely dinner here this evening and were really impressed. The mutton haleem came first and was easily the standout dish of the night—rich, comforting, and very close to authentic Hyderabadi haleem. We had ordered two portions along with an Indian salad and the dry chicken pakora, which was tasty and beautifully presented. The haleem portion was a bit small, so we added a chicken dum biryani afterward, and it turned out to be a huge, flavourful serving with plenty left to take home. Even the hot water with lemon was thoughtfully made with extra squeezed lemon juice in it. The staff were warm, friendly, and very welcoming. Looking forward to coming back!
