We drove all the way from Niagara Falls to Montreal and decided to try some Hyderabadi cuisine. The Nizam restaurant truly did not disappoint. They served some wonderful haleem, and their biryani was truly extraordinary. The chicken 65 also brought back memories of Hyderabad, which added a special touch to our experience. We really appreciate the warmth and kindness shown by the restaurant staff.

Amazing experience! The restaurant has a beautiful and cozy ambience with elegant red decor and comfortable seating. The noodles were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and nicely garnished with fresh onions and herbs. The lemon on the side added a great touch. Overall, great food, nice atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommended!”

I had such a great experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—every dish felt thoughtfully made. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole visit even better. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal. You can tell they really care about both the food and the customer experience. one of the best food i have in montreal. Ok resturant is small, but do not judge the cover.. :) best food.. and best host indeed.. must try: Authentic indian version of shawarma... paneer takka grilled ... i bet you have never tried like this one. and shahi tukda dessert. ofcourse biryani is amaxing but for me.. its above.. :)

Shawrama was very tasty! Tried the Chicken 65, it was very delicious. Tandoori chicken was also very nice, mix of burnt and spicy! Perfect!

Restaurant Nizam's is an excellent option for Indian food, specifically Hyderabadi, in Montreal. The fish pakora were well seasoned and quite delicate inside. The Chicken 65 Shawarma and the Veggie Aalu Tiki Burger are incredible and my wife and I will be talking about them and how much we enjoyed them for weeks to come. If you crave well executed Indian food in Montreal, you need to try Restaurant Nizam's.

Actual, Real Hydrabad Dum Biryani, Haleem and Indian Chinese food. If you left India one weekend before you could squeeze in that last veg manchurian or chilli chicken, then you are in luck

We ordered vegetable biryani, veg Manchurian, naan, and gulab jamun for dessert for the party. Quantity was good enough. Everything tasted amazing! The kids especially loved the naan—it was absolutely delicious. This place is a must-try for authentic biryani flavor. The customer service was excellent too!

Tried their chicken biryani a couple of times, and the flavour is absolutely amazing. The taste is very authentic, with a proper Hyderabadi touch. I also tried their haleem, shawarma, and double ka meetha — everything was delicious and well-made. The prices are quite affordable too. Definitely a must-try place if you’re craving a genuine, flavourful biryani
