Grabbed dinner at Ly-Hai on a Wednesday night and we practically had the place to ourselves, which made it feel really relaxed. The pho ga was the standout, rich broth and the chicken was perfectly tender, not dry at all like some other spots. Our server was super attentive without hovering, checking in right when we needed refills but otherwise letting us hang out and catch up. Already planning to bring the rest of the weekend crew back here soon, it's exactly the kind of low key spot we like for a casual outing.

Stopped by for a late lunch on a weekday and ended up staying way longer than planned because the tourtière was so good, probably the best I've had in the area. The staff clearly recognize regulars, and they still treated us like it was our first time in, real warm and attentive without hovering. Parking behind the building was easy to find even though the street out front was packed. Honestly after all these years of coming back I still notice something new on the menu worth trying, and this visit was no exception.

Brought my dog along last Friday evening and was so relieved to find that the staff welcomed her without any hesitation, even bringing out a little bowl of water without us asking. We ordered the pho and honestly it was some of the best I've had in Quebec, rich broth with just the right amount of warmth for a cool night. The patio seating made everything so much more relaxed, being able to sit outside with her while still feeling like a real dining experience rather than an afterthought. We'll definitely be back and already recommended it to two other people in our dog walking group.

We are visiting Quebec City for the first time. We were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant, and lucky for us, Google Maps directed us here! This restaurant is a family affair. The hostess was so kind when we called to make a reservation. None of us has spoken French since high school, and she switched right to English to make our lives easier. When we arrived, she sat our party quickly and told us about the menu. There were 8 of us, and not one of us had a single negative word to say about the food. The hostess told us her mom was cooking as she had for the last 30 plus years. The food was definitely made with love! From the wonton soup to the fried apple dessert, the food was delicious. Excellent curry and peanut sauce! Besides the great food, the atmosphere was lovely. We were well cared for the entire meal. What a great way to end our first full day in the city.

Me and my family of 8 visited the restaurant yesterday in expectation of good food. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing, but the service was excellent our server was very kind and went above and beyond. Just so that everyone knows each adult has to spend $25 min on food because they let you bring your own wine.

Hi, I was the waitress that served you and your family. First of all, thank you for your review. Second of all, I don't know how your parents raised you. If you and your family didn't like the foods, how comes you guys didnt just say it. Why hide behind a screen. You know how to communicate, right? I came back so many time at your table to ask if everything was alright?! Also you guys asked for boxes to bring the leftover? I also added more rice for the left over chicken red curry with coconut milk. Even one of you ordered en extra soup because he liked it. You are the little boy who order the chicken general tao, You finished it all. I am disappointed in you little boy. As I explained, here in Quebec City, we have a license to BRING YOUR OWN WINE! 25$/Per person is fair. Before giving a review, do your homework. 41 years, my mom works hard and cooks for our customers. Thank you again and have fun in Niagara Falls.

Came here with a few friends on a Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago and honestly we were all blown away. The pho was rich and deeply flavoured, exactly the kind of broth that takes hours to make right. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole meal feel really relaxed. Definitely coming back on our next weekend outing, it has earned a permanent spot in our rotation.

It was truly delicious, we practically cleaned off our plates! It is definitely worth trying and I will be going back!
