food was all yummy + interesting - esp loved the tagliatelle and the smores mousse blew my mind! Genius!! best of all was the friendly service - some of the kindest and warmest hospitality I’ve had in 2 years of living in montréal

Visited montreal for two days but very glad I came here among a variety of options. The owner is very personable and the bison burger is great. Highly recommend and will be back
We had the most fantastic meal. The atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious, and both the quality of food and the service is outstanding. Bone marrow was a decadent appetizer. Beef tagliatelle and the Duck special were decadent but not overwhelming. Highly recommend and we hope to return.
This is a campy canadian style place complete with a canoe bar, service was charming and I would definitely go back but the food was just meh..well cooked nicely presented but lacked a bit of seasoning
We had the chef’s choice dinner option and we highly recommend it, but any experience here is well worth it! The staff are amazing and incredibly friendly! We loved our dinner here and we’ll be back!

Best steak I've eaten in a long time. The place has a relaxed atmosphere. The owner is a great guy and friendly to boot. The poutine with truffle is to die for! Greatly recommended for family and friends.
We rang in the New Year at Restaurant L’Original, and it was truly a spectacular night. The service was impeccable, the food absolutely phenomenal, and the wine selection far exceeded our expectations. This quaint, unassuming restaurant completely won our hearts. We believe we were the only “tourists” there, which made the evening even more special—just us and wonderful locals, all savoring a memorable night together.
