Le Gourmand in Pointe-Claire is honestly one of my favourite places to go! From the moment you walk in, you get such a warm and welcoming feeling. The ambiance is beautiful, cozy, and inviting, which makes it the perfect spot whether you’re going for a casual meal, a date night, or just a nice meal with friends and family. The food is always delicious and you can really tell that a lot of care goes into what they serve. Everything I’ve tried has been full of flavour, well prepared, and consistently satisfying. It’s one of those places where I’m always excited to come back and try something else on the menu.

One of the best restaurants in the West-Island area of Montreal. Consistently good, reliable in every aspect and simply delicious options. Also great option for a wonderful lunch on the patio outside in summer. We go here at least 4 times a year.

Been coming here with my folks for a long time, but I think I'm starting to see a dip in quality. I'll start with the drinks. I ordered a Negroni, and when it came, it was awful, tasted diluted. The server was kind enough to change to a Old Fashion, which was slightly better but still awful. I don't know if it's the ice, or the bartender but very disappointing. It's not traditional to put a maraschino cherry in an old fashion, but if you do, don't put the cheap sweet kind that ruins the drink. Very disappointing. Next was the portions. Now I know it's fine dining, but the portions to price was laughable. I couldn't believe how tiny the charcuterie board was. You're going to give three pate and two slices of toast? We even had to ask for extra bread. The crab cakes were tasty, just small for what you paid for, and had not the quality to excuse the size. The gnocchi was very disappointing. Dry, tasted and looked like hospital food. To finish off, we ordered the creme brulee, which was delicious, not too sweet, thin crispy bitter top. That I would recommend. The service was nice, but while I never minded paying extra for quality, now I'm feeling I'm paying extra for sub par food. Cutting corners but keeping prices shows, and I will hesitate before coming here again.

The staff very friendly & great ambiance how ever food was lack luster and a complete Rip Off Ordered a 72$ dollar main course Scampi and Shrimp The shrimp were Nordic ( baby shrimp ) u put in a salad and scampis very small Felt cheated felt robbed of what was at the beginning a great experience …too bad I won’t be back!!

We had an incredible experience last evening at le gourmand. The food was absolutely deliscious. Christine and Christa were excellent servers. Kind, knowledgeable and very friendly. Michael made and served our drinks and I must say they were very tasty We had the daisy gin drink and finished with some spiked coffees. The atmosphere on the patio was elegant, charming and warm. Will definately return

I have been coming here 15+ years and have never been so disappointed. I brought my 92 year old mom and the service was crap!! 30 minutes and no main meal was served, wow! Food here is great, but I won't come back! Manager apologized but did nothing to fix the situation. Sad.

Worst restaurant experience we’ve had. From the seating to taking our order, the service was cold and unwelcoming. An older waiter kept staring at our kids while they were eating bread, which made us very uncomfortable. As non-white customers, the attitude felt discriminatory throughout the entire experience. We lost our appetite, paid for two bottles of sparkling water, and left. Very disappointing for such a well-known restaurant.

This is a special spot on the West Island of Montreal. We recently took 12 guests who had expressed the desire for local Quebec cuisine. They were not disappointed! The attention to the little details, the food was delicious, tasty with beautiful aromas. Selection of wine is ample. It’s a hidden gem and a great spot for all sorts of entertaining or a special date night. The historical house makes it even more special, you can really sense the history. During the summer of the patio is a great size with awning and flowers throughout. Summer nights make it a spot not to be missed. For those looking for a quick bite and a drink, there’s a small bar area with top shelf Spirits. Over the last 25 years we’ve always enjoyed visiting with family, bring people for business when possible and when in Montreal. It’s always a short hit, with people wanting to go back. Thank you to chef Sean and MICHAEL and Jessica for the hospitality.

We got the tasting menu as we were a large group. The food was good and had some unique flavours. The restaurant is in a charming, historical home in Sainte-Anne. It’s perfect for the Summer.

Though not my first time here, I celebrated a milestone birthday this February. My friend and I were not disappointed. The staff, the service, the food...💯%. Started off with a nice bottle of wine. The terrine and the mushroom entrée were outstanding. My friend and I both had the shrimp and scallops. The sprouts could have been a little crunchier for our taste, but overall, delicious. To finish off, our crème brûlée topped off a fantastic meal. I will definitely come back for my next big 0

We flew in from San Diego, California for business and a mini vacation. We came to this spot for a business dinner but wound up having so much fun. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and cozy, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back!!

The food arrived cold and looked like it had been sitting for a while. The pasta was dry, the sauce lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked. For the prices charged, I expected much better quality. Presentation was sloppy, and the portion sizes were small. Extremely disappointing.
