This restaurant offers a professional atmosphere with excellent food and service. We enjoyed the burrata, smoked salmon, grilled tuna, and salmon tartare. Excellent vegan options like gnocchi and cauliflower are available. Limited street parking is the only drawback.
Visited in the summer of 2025, had an amazing meal. Even the starter bread and butter was such a good combination. Highlight's from the main included the duck confit pasta, the sauce was rich and lots of depth to the dish. Dessert was a dish that included ice cream and it was flat out best vanilla ice cream ever, so dense and smooth tasting. Overall, highly recommend!
Whiskey old fashioned surprised me and it was pretty good. Small restaurant with excellent food , I would recommend a reservation. Not plenty of sitting area so book that table ahead of the game. Excellent service as well with friendly staff.
This restaurant is the Crème de la crème. At first, It might look simple, but it's nothing short than perfect. Between the beef carpaccio, Tuna Tartare, parsley soup, gnocchi & mushrooms and the Cordon bleu, EVERYTHING was delicious and beautiful like an art piece. As for the service, it was superb👌
Tried this restaurant for lunch. The clientele is mostly corporate people, which makes for a nice atmosphere. The food was very good, and the service was solid as well. We had the burrata & tomato and the smoked salmon as starters, followed by the grilled tuna and salmon tartare as mains. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go back. Street parking is available, but spots are limited. VEGANS can choose from gnocchi with mushrooms and pesto (as a main), fried cauliflower with mouhamara sauce, or Brussels sprouts (entrés).
Incredible food!
Excellent Service, very high class and quality restaurant
We ate here as we were staying in the hotel and had been travelling all day. We arrived early (5;30 ish)and were able to get a table, but it filled up quickly so a reservation is probably a good idea. The waiter did a nice job serving us in English and provided a detailed description of the cordon blue for my husband. He enjoyed the dish and it was well presented and tasty. Quite enjoyed our dinner, would return.
We went to Le Carré in January 2026 for a girls night out of 3 and had a such a nice expérience. Food was delicious, service super courteous and kind, and we much appreciated the recommendations of the sommelier. Would definately go back again.
Great food but they close early
Since Le Carre is attached to a hotel, I expected a corporate style restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised to see they arent afraid to serve good food with an interesting twist. The calamari and salad were solid starters, and the pea and leek soup was fantastic. The sea bass was quite impressive with a lot of sour notes—almost too much but I appreciate the unique flavor. They nicely split the octopus for us. The streak was tender and I highly recommend the duck pasta. Desserts were nicely plated and garnished: I wasnt sure what to expect with the brownie but it was rather crispy and elegantly plated. The creme brulee was nice and thin and came out flaming. Service was good throughout the night, and the interior is small but elegant.
I feel like I died and went to heaven!! Upon entering, I knew this was going to be a dining experience like no other!! The ambience and decor was tasteful, modern, beautifully decorated and very elegant! I love the turquoise wall and the gold finishes! The menu was extensive, I would have picked everything on the menu (as they all sounded delicious)!! We started off with cocktails, which were garnished and presented so beautifully!! We had the Scallops ceviche, the burrata and the beef tartare...OMG!!! Soooo pleasing to the eye, and palate; delicious!! My main was the fresh pasta with duck confit (first time having duck confit)...I was in food HEAVEN!!! So savoury, so delicious, so creamy, the pasta was fresh and cooked to al dente; the peas were sweet and the cream was flavored beautifully!! so tasty, so yummy!! The service was impeccable; very attentive, and efficient! This dinner was an absolute pleasure! I just wish I could go there every night (however, I had to come back to Toronto! :(
