If I could give Restaurant Le 514 more than five stars I would. Starting with the cocktails - the bartender is a creative genius - then moving onto the chips and avocado crema (just the right amount of heat and so delicious) and finishing with the fish tacos (the best fish tacos I’ve had in my life - light and crispy and full of flavour) and pozole (full of pork and super hearty) - everything was perfection. Super friendly and attentive service. Can’t recommend enough.

We paid $150 per person for a supposed 15-course “immersive movie night” tasting experience, and it was one of the most disappointing dining events I’ve ever attended. First, 9 out of the 15 “courses” were literally juice. Not creative mocktails. Not paired beverages. Just juice. That leaves six actual food items — and those appeared to be frozen Costco appetizers heated up and plated. There was nothing immersive, nothing elevated, and certainly nothing worth $150. To make matters worse, we were left waiting an entire hour before the movie even started, with no clear communication or apology. The pacing felt completely disorganized. We were also promised a gift included in the ticket price at the end of the evening. Apparently there was “an issue,” and we never received it. No substitute, no refund, no partial compensation — nothing. For the price point, this felt careless, poorly executed, and frankly misleading. If you’re charging fine-dining prices, you need to deliver fine-dining quality and professionalism. This was nowhere close. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. However, the 2 waiters were really nice.

Food was delicious and had a true Mexican flavor (muy buen sazón mexicano). The portions were perfect. My husband had yummy chilaquiles with beef and he thought they were great! Our daughter loved that her chorizo omelette was so cheesy, she liked that her fries were crispy and hot; and she loved the honey melon as part of her fruit side (included on her plate). I had the tampiqueña plate which included beef, enchiladas, beans and guacamole. The beef was cooked just right and had delicious onions on it. So juicy and yummy. We will definitely be coming back when we are in Montreal. Thanks so much for the crunchy and sweet buñuelos to top our wonderful meal. 🇲🇽

We ordered delivery via UberEats, and I am blown away by how well the food traveled. Usually, brunch can be hit-or-miss with delivery, but Le 514 nailed it. • The Tampiqueña: This was the star of the show. The steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the authentic accompaniments made it feel like a high-end sit-down meal in the comfort of our own home. • The Omelette: Fluffy, generous with the fillings, and arrived hot! You can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients. Everything was packaged securely and arrived exactly as described. If you’re looking for a brunch that goes beyond the basic "eggs and toast," this is the spot. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

I order the posole, and it is warm, comforting, and full of flavor. I also get the Dalgona whipped coffee, which is creamy and sweet and goes really well with the meal. My boyfriend orders the Mexican burger, and it is juicy, well-seasoned, and has a nice Mexican twist to it. The portions are filling, and everything tastes fresh. Tonight they also had a salsa class that happens every Saturday. The music was lively and enjoyable.

This place is an absolute joke and hands down the worst restaurant experience imaginable. The portions are insultingly small, the prices are a complete rip-off, and the food quality is downright awful. Everything tasted like stale, reheated leftovers, and the wait time was ridiculously long for food that wasn’t even edible. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place—there is no possible way the reviews are legitimate; they are blatantly fake and clearly bought. To top it all off, they served different kinds of chicken on the same dish, with noticeably different stew colors. That’s not just careless—it’s unacceptable and embarrassing. Total waste of money, time, and appetite.
