Busy but worth the wait - fav spot to eat breakfast.... and so memorable... from the food to the menu to the bathroom.... a must go!
Small eatery with a great vibe. We had a reservation so seating was quick, otherwise there is a huge line up to this place. The shakshuka with toasted multigrain bread was very filling and the portions are generous. I requested for the dish without eggs. The other dish was tuna, eggs scrambled on a toast. Tonno Italiano Italian tuna in olive oil complimented with Sicilian flavors, served on a salad drizzled with a marinated onion. My friend complimented the dish a lot about its flavors that it was very unique. The serving was quite generous. Michael helped us with recommendations for coffee. We got hazelnut latte and pistachio latte. The hazelnut was a good recommendation.overall good value for money. Road side parking is a pain but we were lucky to get a free parking as it was a Sunday.
Great food for the price! I had the Bobby goes to Dallas and it was HUGE! Way more food that I expected! We came on Valentine’s Day so we had to wait a little outside but WORTH IT!
Gym dude omelette was interesting tasted good, for those who want that protein it's a great choice. The Dubai chocolate French toast was great enjoyed eating that as well. Nice sit down spot and artistic drawings
Louder but good music (fine), a little crowded cramped (fine), very cool disco bathroom, cool wait uniforms, GREAT FOOD!
Back at L’Avenue on Mont-Royal after a couple of years, and it reminded me why it’s one of our favorite breakfast spots. The service was excellent, our server was super attentive and patient. The menu has changed a bit, and surprisingly, there was no lineup to get s table. The food is still very on point. I ordered The Indecisive with the pistachio French toast, and wow - that pistachio French toast was next level, seriously so good. 😋 The pistachio latte was also very delicious and paired perfectly with the meal. I find it unfortunate that they no longer have vegan options. I remember they used to have a few delicious vegan plates but that is no longer the case. Prices are on the higher side, but honestly that seems to be the norm for breakfast spots these days. Still, the quality and experience made it worth it. Definitely happy we came back.
The host prioritized a large group who arrived 20 minutes after us and sat 20 minutes before us. We ended up getting the same booth as them. They acknowledged the mistake, and comped us with free drinks. Nevertheless it was a bit insulting. Food is on point, and you should come hungry and in the mood for creative breakfast brunch dishses...but if you want the simple diner breakfast experience this isn't the place.
I've been to this restaurant many times before and have always enjoyed it. I've also ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats before and was satisfied but today's order was pure disappointment. I always order the same thing so I know how it is but my meal was so bad today that I'm throwing half of it in the garbage. I didn't want to leave a bad review because I generally enjoy the place but times are hard for everyone and this was my treat of the month and now I feel like my money was wasted.
L'Avenue is a great brunch spot located near the Mont-Royal metro station. The food and service were great during out visit on a snowy Montreal day. The seating is a bit cramped but the small place can hold only so many people. Food was delicious. Note: You might need to wait in a line outside depending on the availability (especially during weekends). They gave free mint/green tea during our wait outside. 🫡
Upbeat and Modern brunch place in the heart of Plateau. Cool interior decor, great food, and generous portions. The washrooms are very colorful.
We were in this morning at 12:30 for brunch. Who the hell packages my pancakes and eggs and bacon like this. What a waste of food. Took this home to eat later because the serving was huge. All garbage now.
Everything was delicious 😋 highly recommended
The vibe is like an auto shop. All the servers wear pit crew jumpsuits. Music is 2000s and 90s hip hop. Servers are attentive and helpful with the menu. The food?? Absolutely amazing, huge portions, I couldn’t finish it. 10/10. They don’t take reservations but the only wait wasn’t too long.
Delicious food. Portions are enormous. Could have done with smaller portion and cheaper price. Place was very busy and kinda tight. Very unique vibe though.
The food was amazing!! The only con was having to wait outside for a bit in the cold but it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
