Might be the nostalgia from my childhood, but Lafleur's is a must when back in Montreal. Nothing beats a couple of "steamés" and a paper bag full of the best fries.

The manager Sylvain Roy was very unprofesional and rude when I reached out for a damaged and missing order item.
I like the old school vibe the place has. Nice simple menu. I wish the cheese was melted a little more on the hot dog. Flavor was good french fries I approve. I would try some more options next time.
We were in town overnight and decided to have lunch here. We ordered the 2 steamies with onion rings (which were so delicious) popcorn chicken (there’s a spice that makes it taste soapy to me) and French fries (again, another delicious win) and a burger with poutine (winner in both items)

Haven’t been here in awhile since so many similar resto have opened nearby. I can see it’s definitely different than before. Food is not as good as I remembered. Service is pretty minimal.
The food is ok for the most part, hamburgers are generic in taste, these places use to have much better prices than other fast food joints, but now they're as expensive as others.

You cannot (never) go wrong at Lafleur. Best fries and dogs in town. On sources, it is one of their best. Clean, bright.
I wanted a bowl of popcorn chicken since I dont eat bread. I honestly thought this was a healthy place from the look of the restaurant outside but its very deciving no healthy options at all. Anyhow order just a bowl of the chicken nothing else cost was nearly 12$ and honestly the bowl portion i kid you not was for a toddler. Pricing is absolutely ridiculous 🙄 😒 portion even more, dont waste your money here. Taste was average nothing special.
It kind of seems that their Michigan hotdogs aren't as good as they use to be. The sauce seems different. It's still a nice treat to go there once in a while. Just maybe not quite as good as it once was. After just eating there again, I still stand by my previous comment that the sauce used in their Michigan hotdogs is different. Still okay but different.

I ordered a smoked meet sandwich and was surprised with the quantity. The sandwich is very thin comapring to the prwviously ordered. same price less quantity. What happened?
