Absolutely a fantastic experience! From start to finish, everything was great. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, there’s a lovely large fireplace in the middle and I suspect the patio would be great in the summer. We were a large group of 9 and everything went smoothly. We had beer, wine, espresso martinis (including the absinthe one) and the speciality cocktail which was like a strawberry daiquiri but better and not so sweet. The house focaccia is fluffy and comes with a special butter. The cod croquettes are pretty good, a touch oily but tasty. The lobster fritters were better and were filled with lots of lobster. The arancini were good and a large portion as an appetizer so good for 2 people to share. We also had the beef tartar which was well seasoned and fresh, as is expected in Quebec it is chunky though. For mains my favourite dishes were the beef cheek and the seafood pasta. The tuna is nice but it wouldn’t be my first choice. The duck was also good but the beef was better. The vegan option, which is chickpea and mushroom based, was delicious and we were so happy that the restaurant could accommodate a vegan request. The crème brule was excellent but I wasn’t a huge fan of the cannoli. I’d definitely go back for the food but the star of the show was our waitress! Absolutely fantastic service. She was kind and attentive, answered all of our questions and handled our large group so well. I cannot say enough good things about her and it made our experience so special.

The food was excellent, but the service put this restaurant over the top. My daughter has allergies and the staff worked hard to make her feel comfortable and safe. I had the beef cheek over potatoes and it was delicious comfort food. We were surprised at the low cost after carefully curated cocktails and hearty entrees.

Very good food, professional and welcoming service, warm and lively vibe. A well-curated menu that is small but has many appealing options. We especially enjoyed the beef tartar and the desserts were fabulous. Very good value! Check this place out soon.
