Butter Chicken way too sweet.
Food was good and the service was prefect by Nikk will be coming back.
Atmosphere is extremely disgusting smelly and suffocating No body can have dine in such ambience. Truly need deep cleaning
Amazing flavors and cozy vibe. The food tastes authentic and fresh every time. Definitely coming back!
Loved my experience at Khao Peeyo! The food is super flavorful and fresh, especially the butter chicken and naan. Great atmosphere and friendly staff — definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in Montreal. Highly recommend!
Great place, good food and awesome server. She really did a great job with helping us order according to our food needs .
Great food
The best indian Restaurant in montreal for North indian cuisine and Graima did a great job on service end.
Korma is amazing and the lamb curry is super tender
I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I started by ordering a few appetizers, but the quality was extremely poor—honestly not even edible. It was very surprising and frustrating, especially given my expectations. To make matters worse, when I asked for a beer, they only had small cans available, and they weren’t even cold. Overall, the experience fell far below standard. Based on this visit, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to others.
Had a great time here! Enjoyed the vibe and the delicious food. The hospitality was awesome with friendly and positive energy throughout! Highly recommend!!
Over expensive, over charge for poor meals
If comfort had a flavor, it would taste like Khao Piyo. From the moment you walk in, the aroma wraps around you like a warm shawl on a winter evening. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted—rich, vibrant, and full of that authentic Indian soul you just can’t fake. The spices don’t shout; they sing in perfect harmony. The butter chicken is silky and indulgent, the biryani arrives like a celebration in a bowl, and even the simplest naan feels like it was made with care and intention. You can tell this isn’t just food—it’s passion plated beautifully. What truly elevates the experience is the hospitality. The staff treats you less like a customer and more like a guest they’ve been waiting for. If you’re craving real Indian flavors that feel both nostalgic and exciting, Khao Piyo isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience you’ll want to return to again and again.
Food is amazing , also staff is very friendly .Highly recommended for Best indian food .
Very disappointing experience. The food was extremely bad and not fresh at all. I ordered an Aloo Tikki Burger, Chicken Biryani, Golgappe, and Samosa Chaat, and honestly everything felt like a waste of money. The Aloo Tikki Burger was cold and tasted stale. The Chicken Biryani lacked flavor and didn’t seem fresh at all. The Golgappe were soggy instead of crispy, and the Samosa Chaat was also very disappointing. Overall, the food quality was poor and definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for fresh and tasty food. Very bad experience. 😞
We love coming here. The food is always great. It’s open very late and the staff is always super nice.
Ordered garlic naan’s for takeout but got roti’s instead which spoiled whole dinner

Great experience!
The food quality was top class. But the service is very bad by one of the staff members. I really don’t know the name but I remember. Please make sure to give the customer a good service. Thank you.
