I had a great experience at Khan Jee Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was fresh and well-prepared. On top of that, the customer service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Today in the afternoon we ordered chicken Biryani, shrimp chowmin and khanji special tea for take out. Both dishes were disgusting, only tea was delicious. In chowmin it's just the soya sauce and cabbage and they added just 5 shrimps, Biryani chicken was stale. I am thinking how people rated this place so high. We were visiting from Toronto and by looking their rating and reviews we went there.we are very disappointed.

Based on my personal experience, The food is extremely overpriced and the quality is very poor. They are selling small frozen parathas (not fresh) for $5 each, chickpeas for $16 (which typically cost around $5 elsewhere), and halwa puri for $15 that you can find for about $7 at other places. On top of that, the hygiene standards are concerning. This place seriously needs inspection from the Quebec food authorities for overcharging and poor standards. Definitely not recommended.

Our Halwa Puri Thali is priced at $12.99, not $15, and it includes multiple items. We work hard to keep our pricing fair while dealing with today’s increased costs for ingredients, rent, wages, packaging, and operations. Regarding cleanliness, we take hygiene and food safety very seriously and always do our best to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff. We strongly disagree with any false or unfair claims about our standards. That said, if your feedback is genuine, we are open to hearing more and resolving your concerns respectfully. We welcome honest feedback, but we also ask that comments remain accurate and fair. ------------------ Second reply since you have too much time on your hand and you never bother calling and posting these pictures - rather call and discuss and help us improve. Here you go Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate that after almost three weeks, you are still focusing on one paratha that you feel was overpriced. If you were unhappy with the item, you were welcome to contact us directly at the time so we could understand the issue properly and address it. Regarding your comments about our Halwa Puri, please note that our Halwa Puri platter is not just one item. It includes five items, is prepared fresh, and is one of our best-selling breakfast items. We still give it for 12 dollar -for tax portion kindly refer to the govt. Comparing a full platter to a basic $5 meal elsewhere is not a fair comparison, especially with today’s food costs, rent, staffing, delivery platform fees, and inflation. Should revisit basic inflation cost of running a restaurant and dining in. Dont know where in the world you get $5 meals these days - let me know and I will go try it out. As for the paratha, if you did not like the style or preparation, you are free to purchase it elsewhere. We do our best to provide consistent quality and fresh food, and many items take time to prepare properly. That is also why some orders can take longer, because we are not simply handing out pre-packed fast food. Your repeated comments about hygiene are serious and unfair. We maintain a clean environment, follow food safety standards, and take cleanliness very seriously. Making public accusations without giving us a chance to discuss or verify the concern does not help anyone and can unfairly damage a small business. If your intention is sincere feedback, I welcome you to call me directly at 514-577-8599. We are always open to hearing from customers and improving where needed. However, publicly hammering a small business with exaggerated claims instead of reaching out directly is not the right way to resolve a concern. Worst restaurant ever. I ordered chicken biryani and chicken karahi, and both had very old, stale chicken. The taste was terrible and completely disappointing. NOT RECOMMENDED at all. Don’t waste your time or money.

Ate here after a long gap and it was surprisingly wonderful, the peshawari karahi was simply delicious with those beautifully done naans and daal maash was on point, fantastic flavours. Keep it simple with just naan n karahi or a daal addition and it'll be great. Recommended

Disgusting and Unhygienic! I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered a paratha kebab roll and chicken biryani. The kebab roll had tiny cockroaches inside the chicken! I showed it to them right away, but the owner rudely denied it. The chicken biryani was also rotten and smelled bad. I politely asked for a meat-free replacement like lentils, not even a refund — but the owner refused and told me to leave. Terrible food, zero hygiene, and the owner has no manners. Stay away if you care about your health!

I had a very disappointing experience at KhanJee. I ordered chicken Karahi, and it was not properly cooked at all. On top of that, the chicken had a very bad smell, like it was old and not fresh. When I raised the issue, the waitress called the owner, but instead of handling the situation professionally, he was extremely rude. He refused to accept that there was anything wrong with the food and simply dismissed my complaint, saying everything was fine, then walked away. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Serving questionable food and then refusing to take responsibility is not okay. I would not recommend this place at all.

A review from an account with no real name, no profile picture, and no review history is already questionable enough. As the owner of KhanJee, I can say clearly that these claims are false. We are very proud of the food we serve and of our reputation for chicken karahi, mutton karahi, and BBQ. Our customers know our standards, and we stand behind them. We also have a pretty good idea which restaurant is trying to target us through this kind of behavior. Anonymous false reviews and cheap tactics will not change the truth, and they will not damage the hard work we have put into building this restaurant. If there is a real problem, come forward properly and we will sort it out. But posting false claims from suspicious accounts is not smart, and it is not something to play with lightly. I never got any phone call nor any complain. Thank you.
