Portions are quite regular. Their katsu was quite good, and the bulgogi flavorful and they did not skimp out on beef! Very authentic. Reserve in advance, as it got quite busy at 5pm on a Sunday.

What an amazing restaurant with impeccable service! The food was to die for and so fresh. We ordered a chicken katsu and there was a tiny piece of blood in it, so we just ate around it and didn’t say anything. When the server took our plates to the back, he came back to apologize on behalf of the chef for the small piece of blood, and kindly gave us a big discount on our meal without us saying anything! Would absolutely come back again!

I had the Bulgogi Dolsot for $22 and the Shrimp Tempura for $7.50. Excellent meal. Good quality beef and shrimp. Tasty rice. Generous portions. Nice casual atmosphere.

I think the place is rated a bit too highly. The first impression was that there was three years' worth of dirt on the floor and wall in the area near the window. They provide a free appetizer that is pretty good, but the kimchi we ordered was disappointing; it had an odd taste, a slightly pungent smell (probably over-fermented), and was bathing in sauce to save us from that. Then, for the main dish, I was disappointed that they didn't have bibimbap (that's on me), but their equivalent, the donburi, is nearly the same thing except that it has with fewer veggies and as a result, a less rich taste. Disappointing overall.

I disliked the kimchi appetizer which smells and tastes OVER fermented (rotten). Katsu fried pork was OPPOSITE to crispy (soft and soggy surface) Restaurant floor looks stained. Had a fly around me.

I was craving to eat something special in downtown after shopping. After searching and searching I finally take a decision to try this restaurant!!! Seeing that nearly 5 stars ⭐️ I can’t miss it. We arrived at 17:00 we are first at the opening. I really like the decoration, service are excellent, I ask some recommendations of the menu. I found the music are too loud for me , I can’t relax and appreciate my meal 🥘 Meals are arrived fairly quickly, omg looks delicious, after first bite you can’t stop. The ratio rice vs meat and accompaniment are perfect balance. Taste are very very good, not too salty I surely comeback to try more dishes

Some of the best service I've experienced in Montreal. The staff were all super friendly and warm. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with a cosy vibe and music, and we could at least have a decent group conversation without too much noise from the other tables. The food was next level. Let me tell you, just the right amount of spice kick and umami for the bulgogi dolsot (hot stone bowl). The crunchy rice at the bottom of the bowl was a chef's kiss 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨. The tteokochi (rice cake appetizer) was a tad too sweet for me, but still had great crunch overall. Definitely a recommended place to visit; I'll come back 100%.

Everything was very delicious. We came for dinner with my spouse and were very satisfied. The place is small but clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a simple but very high-quality meal. The service was also quite attentive. I would definitely recommend it for Korean cuisine in Montréal.

Overall, the food was good and the portions were generous. The seafood was delicious, and the noodles and beef were also enjoyable. The staff were somewhat cold and not very welcoming. It’s best to make a reservation beforehand as the place can get quite busy.

We really enjoyed everything. The tteokkochi was nice and chewy with a bit of a sweet-spicy kick, the bulgogi dolsot came out sizzling and had a lot of flavor, and the cheese katsu was crispy with melted cheese inside. Overall just a really good meal. We’d definitely come back.
