I was in the area over the weekend and wanted to check this place out. Overall, the place is clean, owners and staff are very friendly. The soup was delicious but the Shirazi salad was missing something. The same story with the Kabab Koobideh, it was ok but I felt it was missing spices. Maybe it was the batch on that day. Portions were great. I'm willing to try it another time in the future.

Amazing persian food and nice atmosphère. There was a signer with a guitar. Beware they are generous in portions... you will be filled!
As a group we shared a large platter of various meats, which was delicious and a great way to get a taste of many dishes. Rice was tasty and plentiful, desserts were also delicious. Presentation was lovely. Service was very friendly, warm and polite. Price is more than reasonable. As a family-owned neighborhood restaurant, this is a gem of a place and we will definitely return.
We visited Caspian Restaurant for the first time yesterday with family, and it was an incredible experience! From the start, we were treated to fresh, warm bread and a delicious hummus dip. We ordered the two-person platter featuring Koobideh, Chenjeh, and Joojeh—all of which were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The highlight for me was the traditional local Doogh (yogurt drink) with butter foam on top; it was absolutely unique and refreshing. We also had the Mirza Ghasemi (eggplant dish), which was authentic and delicious. To top it all off, we had tea and homemade baklava for dessert. The baklava was fresh, light, and easily one of the best I’ve had. Overall, 100/100 for food quality, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Good overall experience, I would recommend the koobideh plate.
Food was beautifully presented. Tasty food
Kabab quality is poor.
Incredible food, a real experience and pleasure. It was our first time but we're definitely coming back!
The restaurant offers a very enjoyable dining experience overall. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, though not entirely flawless, there’s still a bit of room for refinement in certain dishes. What stands out immediately is the warm and welcoming staff, who create a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Pricing is quite reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. The Plateau Royal, in particular, is an excellent choice, generous enough to satisfy four people comfortably, making it a great option for sharing. In summary, a solid spot for a satisfying meal with good value, friendly service, and dishes that are more than worth trying.
Authentic and delicious. Best mince meat kebab I’ve had in years. House baklava is legit and pairs perfectly with the tea. Service is great, owner is very open and friendly.
Delicious 💯👍😋
The food is excellent ! Wow ! I totally recommend! Good portions and food very fresh. Delicious
Fesenjan is horrible! Grilled chicken in Fesenjan?! Tasteless. High price for this low quality.
Unforgettable experience; amazing food and extraordinary vibes. Best Persian restaurant in Montreal!
Great service, the best Iranian food
Great place, great food, great value.
Friendly stuff and good food
Nice restaurant, very nice food and amazing service! The owners amazing! Definitely recommend! I enjoyed my evening with work colleagues!
Good portions, first time trying this restaurant and overall satisfied.
We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over a year now, and every single visit has been consistently amazing! The service is always incredibly fast and efficient, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and beautifully designed — it makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The food quality is outstanding! Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can truly taste the authenticity and care in every bite. Definitely one of the best Persian restaurants in Montreal. Highly recommended — we will absolutely keep coming back!
As someone of Middle Eastern descent, I will never understand why ethnic restaurants sell pizza in a restaurant called "Restaurant iranien Caspienne" or bland white rice. It seems like the cook or owner are allergic to salt and butter because everything we tasted was bland. We decided to try this since we wanted to give Persian Food a chance and we were seriously disappointed. The service was very quick which is always a red flag but we told ourselves maybe the food will be better. But the meat was unseasoned and tasted weird. The bread they gave us looked good but once again it had no taste to it. The rice was just bland white rice. The soup was the only decent thing and you could tell that it was reheated and not fresh. Overall, a disappointing experience and the insult on the injury was the final price. 65$ for 2 people is crazy in 2026. I don't really understand how this has 4.8 starts on 5. Either people have poor taste or the owner is bribing people with free food if you leave good reviews. The people in the restaurant around weren't even finishing their plates and they all looked disappointed.
I highly recommend this little Iranian restaurant. Delicious food, great ambiance, best homemade baklava I ever tasted and wonderful owners, who are very kind and hardworking. Definitely we will come back in the future.
Perfect food, perfect service, we gonna come back!
Amazing food, excellent service, and very kind people. I’ll definitely come back and recommend this place.
