Nice atmosphere. Food was good, generous portions. The waiter was friendly. However I think it'd be nice to have Vietnamese music or a diaporama of Vietnamese landscapes on a screen. I came with friends.
Reviews / Ratings for Restaurant I AM PHO (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue)
The beef broth is slow-simmered, rich and flavorful but not greasy. The noodle portion is generous and cooked just right. The spring rolls are crispy, filled with thin rice noodles, which is a nice touch. The milk dessert is loaded with toppings—smooth red bean and mung bean paste with bouncy jelly. Milky, not too sweet, and very refreshing. 😋 The restaurant is clean with a river view, prices are affordable, and the value is great. Worth coming back.
First time here, absolutely amazing food and service. The quantity of the medium bowl is perfect and they even have a smaller bowl if you’re not super hungry. I’m definitely coming again
I’m so glad to have an I Am Pho location in town! It’s an excellent and refreshing addition to Sainte Anne’s selection of restaurants. Lovely staff, cool decor, and the perfect selection of fresh, delicious dishes. 😊🍲
Great food, good value. Much needed in this area of the west Island.
Wonderful addition to SADB, friendly staff, great food, fast and attentive service!! Will be even better in the spring and summer months on the Terrace (with spectacular views)…
Wow! Huge soup bowls that are full of ingredients at a really good price. The food is so good, I tried the deluxe pho with pretty much all the kinds of meat in it and it was divine. I also had the iced coffee which was great as well. It seems that the initial rush from the restaurant being newly opened has calmed down. The service was fast and friendly. 5/5 all around. I'm glad we have a great pho option in the area!
A delicious new option in St. Anne's. We are addicted to their Tonkinese Soup and veggie spring rolls. So good and the food is so fresh. Incredibly fast service and such friendly and kind people. Finally an affordable option in the village of St. Anne's with generous portions and satisfying food. We were a party of four and had so much fun.
I visited during the buy-one-get-one-free promotion and arrived at 4pm on Friday. It was super cold; good thing there were space heaters. I ordered the pho with assorted meats and a spicy pho to go; both were delicious. The packaging was very thorough. The fried vegetarian spring rolls were large. The three-color shaved ice dessert didn’t have many ingredients, but it was tasty.
Went here for the promotion. The beef rib pho was HUGE - i could not finish it all and needed to take some home. It did take a long time to prepare though, so be ready to wait. The meat was not fall off the bone tender but thats actually perfect for me! I like meat with *chew* to it - but maybe not ideal for everybody. (But for me I hope they keep it this way, I personally love it). The broth is a bit greasy though, from all the fat from the beef rib. I also tried the bun bo hue. It was very good but also very very salty. Overall portion sizes are very big and the prices are affordable. Takeout packaging is great too - they separate the hot broth and the noodles/meat. We also had the standard pho for takeout and it was pretty much as expected, in line with other pho places. Congrats to the owners on the launch. Ofc service isnt perfect right now, but thats to be expected. Everyone was friendly and very apologetic and kind of overworked when we visited, probably was very busy during the launch. Im sure with a bit of time they will work out all the minor wrinkles.
Best Tonkinoise soup
They were not ready for the launch. I'm sure this place will do well, but they made us wait pho 45ms before they asked us again what our order was. They totally pho-got about us.
Tried their special soup, it was sooooo good. Love it.
We went there yesterday. I had a spicy noodle soup and my husband had a special one. The portion is generous and the taste is perfect. Definitely will be back after the promotion.
So happy our town finally has a Vietnamese restaurant! I’ve been twice already — yesterday and today — and both times the atmosphere was great. They were really busy, but the wait was totally worth it. The food was delicious and I’ll definitely be back.
Stopped by today and the place was packed — you could tell the staff were super busy, but they were clearly doing their best to keep things moving. The wait was a bit long, but honestly worth it. The food was really tasty and the portions were generous. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Where can you still get a Vietnamese pho for under $10 these days? I waited about an hour for the special, but honestly it was worth it. The service was warm and friendly, and the pho was delicious — perfect for a cold winter day. Really thankful to have a place like this. I’ll definitely be back.
We went there after hearing about their buy-one-get-one promotion. Although we had to wait quite a while, the staff were very warm and kept apologizing because it was so busy. We completely understood, as many people were there to enjoy the special deal. For under $10 (around $16 for two), we got two bowls of soup, and the taste was really good. In our opinion, the wait was worth it. We hope the business continues to do well and grows even more after the promotion ends.
First time trying this spot today — been meaning to come for a while. Came during the BOGO deal and it wasn’t too busy, so got the food in about 20 mins. Saw some mixed reviews, so I’ll probably come back again after the promo ends and try it then haha. Staff were nice, food was really good. Easy 5 stars.
We arrived around 630 and there was a long line. St annes excitment at its finest. We asked for the delay and were told it would be around 1hr. To be expected on opening week. We actually left our number and to my suprise, they called when they had an opening. Things were looking up. This was unfortunately the only up. We arrived 5 minutes later and were greeted by no one, as they were already overwhelmed. We saw our table and sat down. Waited another 15 minutes before waitress arrived and took our order. Another 45 minutes passed and we were served 2 bowls that are not our order. It was then explained our order had been lost and we re-ordered and asked to be treated with priority at this point. We were assured a 10-minute wait. In the following 20 minutes we heard many complaints and started to worry. The final straw was being approached again with the fact that they had run out of 2 of our orders and were then asked what our order was again. We got up swiftly and left, presumed owners avoiding our gaze or any responsibility. I will say our young man server, after the initial waitress, tried his best and I cannot fault him for the sequence of events. The entire situation could have been handled so much better and most people would have understood as it was launch week. Yet no apologies, no incentive to return, no acknowledgement or responsibility taken. Shame, as myself, and I'm sure many St-Anne residents were looking forward to this.
They should have waited to open until they had fully-trained staff. We were a group of 4 and they didn’t have space for us at 6:30pm so we gave our phone number for them to call us when they had space. They called around 7:30pm and we got a table. We ordered. 45 minutes later, two soups arrived, neither of which were ours. 30 minutes later we were told one item we ordered was now unavailable. We modified that order. 15ish minutes later another soup arrived - again, not ours. We left at 9pm, hungry and annoyed. I will say - I think the issue was with management. The servers were nice, just lacking direction.
So how to explain , first of all we arriver at 7:00 and we had a table available around 7h15, its okay for that point, we waited until 7h45 before they come with water and take our order, restaurant almost empty , at 8:20 1 of 4 plates arrives , cold and inside of the meatball literally cold and nothing else came. Finally at 20h45 we decide to just leave and yeah the chef look at us and say thank you bye bye , 8 customer leaves at the same time ( my table and one other ) Really not a good experience now im stuck with mcdonald
We enjoyed the food but the restaurant was freezing. Everyone was wearing their winter coats inside. It definitely made the experience less enjoyable.
Ate there today on their opening day. We had a classic Pho and the grilled chicken bowl. Both dishes were very good quality standard Vietnamese cuisine. Happy to have this new food option in Ste Anne's. We will certainly be regular customers.
