5th time for us, tonight celebrating 14 years of fun, humanity and pure trusthwortiness; sadly, our evening was not up to the expectations we had over the first four feasts we enjoyed over the Helicopter. The opener felt lacking substance and grit compared to the previous experiences, the entres were somewhat delightful but yet shy on elegance, flavorsomness and depth, the duck shared its load of tyrany and desert did not rank the designation. We will rest for some time before we engage again; great mission over local harvesters and farms, great creativity when it comes to differentiate from common offering, and tightness on rituals; but not tonight. Keep it up team and see you at later times.

Had such an amazing night here with a good friend of mine. We had the full tasting menu and wine pairing. Food was mostly amazing, other then two courses; the fish crudo, which was feesh but very bland, and the trout (served with a spicy tomato sauce, very off-putting). Other wise, sea urchin, tartare, mushrooms, bread, duck and deserts were home runs. 😍 Wine pairing and cocktails were exquisite, as was the service from every staff member. Space was "meh", vibes were good but ambiance reminded me of Elena, a big bland square with nothing to write home about. Overall a wonderful experience, will definitely return for specific dishes.

The food here is incredible. Whether you go with the well-priced tasting menu or choose your own combination of à la carte options, you can’t go wrong — the food is fresh and local, the dishes are creative, overall the meal is well worth the price. Combined with the quaint but lively atmosphere, this place is sure to please. That said, it’s the service that makes this place really shine. We were fortunate enough to have Cedric as both our server and bartender, and it was easily the best service we had during our stay in Montreal. He really made the meal that much more special. In short, if you’re even thinking about going to Helicoptre, just do it. You won’t regret it.
