Very pub like. Noisy and busy. Food was OK.
What guests say about Restaurant et bar St-Hubert
The St-Hubert restaurant and bar in Montreal gets mixed reviews: many people enjoy the atmosphere, the welcome from some servers, and the quality of certain dishes like the chicken or ribs. However, complaints often come back about very long waits, food served cold, or order mistakes, especially when people are trying to eat before a show. The service seems inconsistent depending on the shift and the staff, but several customers point out that some servers really make a difference. It’s a decent option if you have time, but less recommended if you’re in a hurry.

Great service and great poutine!
I am very disappointed with this restaurant. Whenever I go to place an order, they always say “the order is not showing in our system.” The staff is extremely unprofessional — very lazy and very rude. Their service is getting worse day by day. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Always staff is saying item is missing Lazy staff and I responsible all time miss behaviour Not responding for online orders
Always staff is saying items not available in store Always saying system errors showing Bad service Lazy staff and unreasonable
I gave the food a 3 because the food was good, but not great. Gravy was watery Having said that... the service was horrible. We had just arrived from out of town and we were looking for a great place for supper. Walked by your restaurant and it looked great. menu looked awesome. Normally when a patio is open people go onto the patio and seat themselves. When we tried to do this we were told quite rudely to go inside and up the stairs. For a second I didn't even understand what she meant No smile no explanation. She simply barked out an order So we went upstairs and we waited about 5 minutes and we're taken to a table on the patio. Our order was taken and the food was brought to our table. That was it No check in to see how we were doing. No asking if the meal was OK or asking if there was anything we needed. We had to flag someone down for salt and pepper. We had to find dessert menus on our own. Now you may think we are customers that are just having a bad day, however there were two young ladies kiddie corner to us who got their food as we got there. Once their food was delivered no one helped them either. They were so frustrated. I finally got up and asked someone to pay attention to them. As we were sitting right at the entrance to the patio the same waitress barked at a lot of people about going up the stairs to get a table. No smile just a bark. A lot of potential customers didn't bother to go in at all. You have a serious customer service issue in this restaurant. Here are some suggestions... 1)Close off the patio so customers have to go inside to ask for a table. 2)Don't have the hostess check in stand at the top of the stairs. If I am a customer with a disability how is this accessible for me? Even if I don't have a disability, having a whole bunch of people crammed together on the stairs to ask for a table is ridiculous. 3). You have a male waiter/ busboy who does not know how to tuck in his shirt and he looks very unprofessional. 4)Invest in customer service training for that waitress ( sorry didn't see a name) or fire her. You lost a lot of customers tonight because of how rude she was. This was the first time in my life I have never left a tip. My apologies to the kitchen but she didn't deserve it.
Excellent service.
great
Excellent service !!!
Door dashed. Visiting Montreal convention and exhausted. Ordered to hotel and just fantastic
The guy running Uber is a total clown. Not cancelling the order when missing food and just allowing multiple drivers to come and turn them away. Extremely unprofessional staff and clearly clueless of how Uber works.
Good
Waiter was great
A Little price compared to Swiss chalet in ontario
This is our third time visiting a different St. Hubert’s location in Quebec. I hate to say it but I’ve noticed on each opportunity that the waitresses attitude suddenly changed when she realized we only spoke English. We read the reviews before going to dinner. There were a lot of negative reviews about the service. One of the things that I immediately noticed that was mentioned were the many dirty tables that simply had dishes on them throughout our entire time at the restaurant. Other than taking our order, we seldomly saw our waitress the rest of the night. Again, not sure if this was because of the English factor. We had to get up and find other waitresses to request refills on our drink. When our waitress did walk by, I request additional BBQ sauce for our meals. Unfortunately, that never arrived. When it came time for desert, our son was told that three options wasn’t available that day. No reason was given. He was simply offered ice cream. To be honest, it will be hard to return to St. Hubert in the future. 🐓🍴

For a business networking lunch, service was quick and efficient. Food was delicious.
Called 3 times and couldn't order and had to do it online. When the order was ready there was No one at the pick-up stand it took me 15 minutes to get my order after waiting 30 minutes for it to be prepared. I
It was Valentine's day and the service was awfully slow. We were under the impression that our waitress was disorganized and overwelmed. It tool 30 minutes just to have our bill and pay. Just for that, our expérience was horrible. Not going back for sure on a day like this.
Excellent restaurant !
Beautiful restaurant with the food served cold and mediocre service.
Ordered online and did in store pickup. It took forever and the girl in the front desk was in the back eating the proceeds to touch my phone to look at the order then procceeds to scratch her teeth… The hygiene and service is so lacking. They were late and my food is cold..
I was celebrating my Birthday and had a wonderful time. I'll be back again
Fast when you order online
It was fine, but expensive. I can go to a way nicer restaurant for the same price and get the same quantity of better food. I got the lunch menu, with tip was just over $55.00 for main, drink, and dessert, plus I had sweet potato fries instead of regular. The dessert selection for the lunch menu isn't that good, the brownie is pretty small with cheap chocolate syrup on top. My tea (included in the lunch menu) was completely forgotten until the end of the meal, I had to remind them, so I stuck around to drink it since I paid for it. Overall, it's fine. Expensive for what it is. I don't think I'll back to St-Hubert very soon, it was a staple of my childhood but I think it's just not worth it.
