After a long day at work, I stopped for a quick takeout at St-Hubert Express, conveniently located close to Carrefour Laval. The chicken is consistently good and flavourful. Their signature sauce really stands out—better than what you’ll find at a lot of other chicken spots across Montreal and even Canada, meaning Swiss Chalet. It’s simple, but done right. Service was efficient. I waited about 10 minutes for my order, and by the time I got home (another 10 minutes), the food was still warm, which says a lot about their turnaround and packaging. All in all, a reliable spot when you want a quick, satisfying supper without wasting time.

A group of teenagers seated in a booth next to ours had a phone playing loud musique. Then, at some point, they were on a long phone call in hands free mode. And they were also playing some sort of beer pong game. Quite noisy. We had already started eating so we could just move to another table.

We were seated quickly, but then we ceased to exist. Our server ignored us for 20 minutes, actively serving every table around us while making eye contact and refusing to acknowledge our flags for help. We eventually walked out—and they didn't even notice. Save your time; go somewhere you’ll actually be served.

Made a reservation for my wife’s birthday for a party of six. When we arrived, we were told the restaurant was full but they would “try to accommodate us.” We were eventually seated at a table meant for four, with an extra table squeezed in for two more people—separated by a pillar—so we couldn’t sit together properly even though we could still see each other. Why accept reservations if you can’t actually accommodate them? We even arrived 10 minutes early. I also mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday, but it was never acknowledged. Service was very slow, and the food was just okay. It took 2.5 hours from the moment we sat down until we finished our meal. Overall, a very disappointing experience for what was supposed to be a special occasion.

Food was awful at take out. Rice undercooked chicken overcooked, small filets ridiculous portion. I was expecting much better. The takeout area is ridiculous, there is nobody. I had temporary switch to des Laurentides during the closing of st Martin but I will go back there since the new location is really bad. It is not for take out at all. Don’t bother going there save yourself a trip.

Our waitress Lydia at the bar area was very nice ans welcoming, always very attentioned to give good service. We met the restaurant manager which was very nice to us.

I visited the new location and had a great experience. The food was delicious (as usual with St-Hubert) and was served very quickly. The cocktails we ordered were equally great. Dany provided great table service. He was professional and attentive to our group's needs. He ensured we had everything we needed and came back a few times to make sure everything was going well with our supper. Dany provided exceptional service! The restaurant atmosphere was modern, welcoming and offered great ambience for myself and my party to enjoy a couple of drinks and share some laughs.
