Whilst waiting for my order, in a waiting area that is only able to fit maybe 4 adults standing there not within arms reach comfortably, all I can hear is some guy with a super loud deep voice with another male coworker, talking about food comparisons from where they worked before or ate before. They spoke about how 5 guys has the best fries, and St Hubert fries are "frozen bags of garbage", mind you these guys are standing 3 feet from the kitchen door to the waiting area, and I am out there waiting for those frozen bags of garbage fries that I just paid for.... Cause that really made me look forward to my meal now right? They continue on about gravy and who's is better, same with chicken and coleslaws, and wouldn't you know it, guess what? None of their favorite places to eat are where they are working and preparing everyone's dinner who's hearing you waiting in the waiting area with me, which were 4 other people. The girls at the front just stood there looking around, pretending to work and on their phones, not trying to make conversation or something to distract us from hearing this guy who is talking like a megaphone in there. And, surprise surprise, my fries ended up being frozen garbage, they clearly didn't cook them long enough. I walked to my car to get in a few bites before I started driving, the buns were old and stale, and my fries were already cold and soft, and the coleslaw I didn't find out until I was home had already went bad. I will never go back there. I should have cancelled my order when I heard those 2 employees in the back talking trash about the food. Strongly do not recommend! Maybe the food can be fixed, but their customer service can't.

Every time we visit the takeout side of St-Hubert, the wait is at least 30 minutes. The cashier informed us of a 20–30 minute wait only after we had already paid. The waiting area is consistently crowded, with people standing around and only one small bench that seats about three adults. Behind the counter, bagged orders pile up while staff continue taking new orders. Delivery drivers come in and quickly collect their food, but in-house takeout orders often sit on the counter getting cold. If you don’t actively check on your order, you could end up waiting much longer. After 30 minutes, we asked about ours and were told it had been hidden behind other orders and wasn’t noticed. The chicken itself is good, and the sauce and coleslaw are consistently enjoyable. The fries, however, are almost always cold and disappointing. Considering the price, the overall quality and experience don’t feel worth it. The staff member taking our order didn’t know what came with the combo, which points to a management and training issue. Overall, the food has potential, but the takeout operation needs much better organization and quality control.

I ordered two poutines and they arrived without sauce. I called st-hubert and they put me on hold forever. This restaurant is flaky on quality, sometimes.es it's good, so.etimes it's awfully. You never know what you sre going to get.
