Every time we visit the takeout side of St-Hubert, the wait is at least 30 minutes. The cashier informed us of a 20–30 minute wait only after we had already paid. The waiting area is consistently crowded, with people standing around and only one small bench that seats about three adults. Behind the counter, bagged orders pile up while staff continue taking new orders. Delivery drivers come in and quickly collect their food, but in-house takeout orders often sit on the counter getting cold. If you don’t actively check on your order, you could end up waiting much longer. After 30 minutes, we asked about ours and were told it had been hidden behind other orders and wasn’t noticed. The chicken itself is good, and the sauce and coleslaw are consistently enjoyable. The fries, however, are almost always cold and disappointing. Considering the price, the overall quality and experience don’t feel worth it. The staff member taking our order didn’t know what came with the combo, which points to a management and training issue. Overall, the food has potential, but the takeout operation needs much better organization and quality control.
I ordered two poutines and they arrived without sauce. I called st-hubert and they put me on hold forever. This restaurant is flaky on quality, sometimes.es it's good, so.etimes it's awfully. You never know what you sre going to get.
