Very nice HK style bbq. You pay a little more for a little more attention to detail and quality. Fun young staff add some life.

This place used to be a solid go-to for good food at great value. Unfortunately, in the last few years, the menu has been modified, portions diminished, taste below average and increased pricing has rendered this place a no-go. There are much better options for your wallet and tummy in the vicinity.

The food is not what it used to be. The other day i went to Dobe and andy with my family and we all ordered the classic dish that we’ve been ordering for the last 10 years : egg noodle soup with char siu. It used to be such a comforting and flavourful dish. Now, it’s tasteless. The portion has diminished but i understand with inflation. However the broth tasted like water there were no ginger notes, no garlicky taste, truly disappointing. I really hope it goes back to what it was because there aren’t any other broths better than the ones i’ve tasted at dobe and andy

Incredible meal and service. We went on a busy Friday night and they were able to seat us right away, the server was very friendly and offered recommendations on what to order. Also incredible deal for the amount of food

Pork and duck were so dry. Also the last time I came, so I gave another chance. They are officially dry.

I don't think I'm going back. I'll go to the other shop on St. Laurent next time. At Dobe & Andy I never eat there, but usually just order a bbq pork to go. The wait time is crazy long. I saw a couple complain and leave the restaurants after not having been served. My very small order took 15 - 20 minutes. Yesterday (Tuesday, March 10 at 4:30 pm), when I purchased a piece of bbq pork - the young man who was working the cash....someone I have never seen before asked for a tip! Also, he forgot to give me the free chopped garlic/green onions. To the owners of the restaurant, train your staff to NOT ask for tips for those who are just taking things to go. It's not appropriate to say to customers....can I just give you back $35....(he took $2 for himself). Weirdly rude. Also, the price is something like $16 a pound (more expensive than the shop on St Laurent), and Dobe and Andy never show you the weight as their scale is placed far away so that you cannot see...so not sure if it is on the up and up. Typically, a sticker with the weight would/should be tagged on the wrapper/container after it is weighed. All other shops have the scale in front so that customers can at least see the weight.

Simply outstanding. Every bite is packed with flavour and authenticity. Many delicious options for vegetarians. Great for all occasions, from large groups celebrating special days to quick comfy bites with your nearest and dearest. And—affordable! Also highly recommend the catering, very accommodating, fast and attentive.

Food was yummy but got a solid dose of food poisoning from it :/ I think it was the duck as no one else at my table got it and they felt fine (ish)

The food was the low point. The duck noodles and Chinese greens were excellent. The bbq meat plate arrived with everything cold. We literally could not eat it. There is something disconcerting about being served cold sliced duck and chicken. It looked delicious. The Tea arrived Luke warm. Service was no better than average. Hard pass on this place.

Very overcrowded and the food was incredibly bland, the"broth" seemed like a mix of water and a bit of salt, overall terrible. The duck didn't taste bad but it had massive bones so the meat wasn't even worth it. It's insane it was even crowded in the first place. The drinks never arrived. The food was so awfully bland I decided to take it home and season it myself since 16 dollars was already a punch on the face. Literally just flavorless noodles in water and oil with a few stalks of long broccoli. The "signature" dish part is still a mystery to me of how it would even become a signature. I took it to go and then they gave me an inappropriate container which leaked the entire way home. Absolute disaster and I don't recommend people to come here. The tables are so close to each other that you'll be lucky not to get a headache while listening to the sound of multiple people around you.

They serve really good portions, it was difficult for us to eat everything. The dishes have good taste, but probably I was having more expectations just by seeing the duck at the entrance. We were looking for the best duck and we asked to Gemini for the recommendation. We aren’t sure if this is the best one but I was expecting a more crunchy flavor

A long-established spot in Chinatown that many locals know well. Famous for roast pork and roast duck, especially the roast duck noodles. Authentic Chinese flavors. Upstairs seating offers a great view of the street enjoy hot noodles with Hong Kong style milk tea while watching snowfall in winter or golden leaves in autumn. A true Hong Kong experience in the heart of Montreal.

We had the Guilin noodles, plate of 3 meats - Char sui, duck, pork belly, and bok choy. Our favourite was the char sui and the bok choy!! We found the pork belly just to be meh though.

An honest family run business from a Hong Kongese multi-generational family. Located in a food plaza, the front windows showcase the classic roast duck, crispy and bbq pork. The inside is decorated with a lot of Bruce Lee in the upper level that overlooks the street of Quebec. The food is authentic Hong Kong food and is delicious. No short cuts were made. The milk tea leaves some to be desired with the flavor and high amount of milk to tea and condensed milk used. The tea does not have a lot of condensed milk to give it sugar. The staff were all helpful and king people.
