Not only was the food delicious, The service was outstanding. Despina, our lovely server, made sure that everything was perfect. Angelo, the owner , was also very attentive to our needs. We Will be back!

I had such a wonderful experience at Greasy Spoon, and I truly can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed like family. The atmosphere is cozy, comforting, and full of charm. The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with genuine care. You can really tell that the kitchen puts heart and passion into every dish. What made the experience even more special was the kindness of the staff. They were attentive, warm, and genuinely happy to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. Greasy Spoon isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place where great food and heartfelt service come together to create something truly special. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know!

I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality went beyond service ، it felt deeply human. As an Iranian going through a very difficult emotional time because of what is happening in my country, I was touched by their compassion. They even played a few meaningful Iranian songs to show support, which meant more than words can express. This place is not only beautiful, but filled with heart. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, a lovely environment, and truly kind people.

We and some Iranians went to this restaurant at the suggestion of one of our friends. It was a very intimate and warm environment. The staff was polite and friendly, and the service was excellent. The taste and quality of the food, desserts, and drinks were unique. At the end, the Iranian people empathized with us by playing freedom-seeking music, which was very humane ❤️

Yes, the food is excellent. Generous portions, flavorful dishes, and drinks that are just as impressive. And don’t leave without trying the crème brûlée — it’s the perfect ending. But what truly sets this place apart isn’t just what’s on the plate. It’s how you’re treated. From the moment we walked in, Angelo, the owner, and his wife Effie welcomed us like family. Not the scripted kind of friendliness — the real kind. Warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged. They don’t just run a restaurant; they create an atmosphere where you feel seen. When Angelo learned that we were Persian, the conversation shifted to something deeper. He spoke about the recent events in Iran and expressed heartfelt solidarity. He asked about our rally in Toronto on February 14, showing sincere interest and support. Then, in a moment we’ll never forget, he surprised us by playing Baraye — a song that has carried so much meaning since 2022. We came with a reservation for dinner. We left with full hearts. In a city full of places where you can eat well, it’s rare to find a place where you feel genuinely cared for. If you value kindness, respect, conversation, and the feeling of being welcomed — not just served — this is your place. You can find good food anywhere. But being treated with this level of warmth and humanity? That’s exceptional.

I've been here many times and it never disappoints. The food is good, the service is good. The staff us always smiling and the owner comes to check on the customers to make sure everything is good (something you don't see everywhere)

It was my first time and the food was on point . The balance of spices and portion of food .My first visit was great and looking forward to my next visit . I must try the other main dishes and dessert. A+ .
