We had a wonderful Easter lunch. The place is situated right next to the river! The service was really nice and the breakfast...well it was good! Wonderful memories.

This is by far the worst restaurant where I’ve had breakfast in my life. My eggs Benedict were tasteless and full of water. The hollandaise sauce was the worst I’ve ever tasted and looked like it had just been thrown on top of the eggs. The fried potatoes were very basic and had no seasoning at all. I honestly would have been better off buying a frozen breakfast than going to this overpriced restaurant. I shared my experience on Facebook, and most of my friends replied that it’s a really bad restaurant, so I’m very surprised by the good reviews. Very skeptical, even. And no, I’m not interested in giving it another chance. You can’t blame this on just one bad experience. So far, several of my Facebook friends, and even people from work, have reached out to say they had the same experience. You need to go out there and see for yourself how far behind your quality really is. I hope more people write honest reviews. Oh, and the pancakes were soggy too. I forgot to mention that.

Nice restaurant, lots of parking, reliable quality of food and service, beautiful view of the water and bike path, lovely outdoor terrace in the summertime. However I cannot give this restaurant 5 stars because their washrooms were filthy, and that is an important detail for me. To begin with they are cramped and dark, the sink is leaking into a bucket beneath it, the garbages had not been emptied and were overflowing, and the smell was awful. (It may have been something in the water, I don't know.) I would love to recommend this restaurant, but this tainted my opinion, unfortunately. They seriously need to fix this issue.

hank you very much for your kind words about our food, service, view and terrace — we truly appreciate it. We would like to sincerely apologize for the condition of the washrooms during your visit. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected plumbing issue with a faucet over the weekend due to normal wear and tear, and it needed to be replaced. Our plumber has already come in this morning to resolve the situation. We would also like to clarify that there was no bucket collecting water — the leak was draining directly into the sink. That said, we fully understand that the overall condition you experienced is not up to our standards. Please note that the building was originally designed by the City of Verdun many years ago, and the layout of the washrooms is not something we can easily modify. However, cleanliness is absolutely our responsibility, and we take your comments seriously. This situation does not reflect the level of care we aim to provide. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience this caused and hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a complete five-star experience

Booked the private room for a birthday, the owner Martin was easy to work with and very accommodating. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We were a group of 35 and the food service was quick and delicious. The waiter and waitress that served us were excellent. Overall a great experience, our guests had nothing but great feedback!

It's been a family tradition to go here for breakfast when I visit Montreal. We go a few times per year. Service is always absolutely amazing, and food is delicious with big portions. I love this place and will continue to go for our family tradition of brunch. Only downfall is they recently started charging a fee for sharing plates
