Great tasting and affordable food. If you're a poutine lover this is the spot to be. The fries have that country crisp and gravy is spot on.
We enjoyed the New York poutine but it was lacking in veggie toppings. We also thought the sauce was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't so we added pepper to give it some more flavor. The petite size was the right size to share for 2 for lunch.
As delicious as in my memories, the only place to get a Poutine in MTL!
I had a great experience from start to finish. The ordering was effortless, and the staff was very polite. We really liked the food and the overall vibe of the place was excellent. I’m planning to come back and try more of their food. I’d recommend this to anyone for a fun evening out.
The staff here are lovely and the portions are very generous despite being labelled "small". I really enjoyed the New York poutine with the hot sauce incorporated. My only critique is the cheese curds were kind of rubbery.

Noone else in the restaurant ordered a couple of poutines. There was so much hype online about the place and truth is i tried about 8 poutines in montreal and ruebens has been the only good one. So i made the trip all the way to chez claudette in hopes of a great poutine. Unfortunately the fries were barely cooked, gravy was ok, and not alot of cheese at all. I understand if it was busy but we were the only ones there. Will not be back
We had the American and the classic, both were equally fantastic. The interior was super charming and cozy giving very family oriented feel. Our server was fabulous coming from out of town she took care of us and took the time to explain the different poutines. 10 out of 10 This place did not disappoint.
This was an excellent excellent experience. We stopped by for lunch on our way out of Mtl and had the best time grabbing brunch here. There were 3 of us including a toddler. They didnt have high chairs however we got seated at a spacious booth style seating. The staff were gems! They were so sweet and kind to us. They were sweet with my child and it made our time here comfortable. The food was so tasty, this is the best poutine ive ever eaten. The fries were crispy, and we got a regular petit dejouner as well as a classique poutine avec peas and sautéed onions. Just fantastic. We got over medium eggs and they were cooked to perfection. Magnificent!!!

Amazing and large selection of poutine and hot meals. Really nostalgic dinner vibe and great service. Menu is French only, but don't let that stop you in the 21st century.
Chez Claudette is a cozy little diner with lots of menu options and very affordable prices. The poutine was delicious and warming on a cool day. The grilled cheese was great too!
