Didn't receive the advertised food while the person next to me had it. Manager did nothing about it.
Honestly Disappointed experience. Food was cold. The portions were smaller than the table next to us. When we asked why. They told us sorry you guys want shot as compensation. No thanks Avoid
food is the worst even smells bad and old had the Naza dish omg horrible like i wanted to barf and not even full of meats only ham I won't not feed it to my dog bad almost rude combative service no comps or refunds got smaked with a crazy high bill of $300 for the dish 2 soups 1 salad and i pitcher of what they call sangria the only thing good there was the soup the drinks were not good music way to loud tables move cracked tiles on the floor with a hole your chair leg can get stuck and you could fall cheap bread like real small a mimi baguette we had to ask for dinner plates they did not have cloth napkins had to use the table cloth . the instagram and tick tok Reels do not reflect anything the cheff is really not good . I was rooting for this place at 1st but after this experience and I had to go eat after at mc donalds after getting smacked $300 for 2 ppl at cheff oui cheff that's just sad and just wrong stay the hell aways from this place Don't believe the HYPE and all the ppl who did put good reviews looks more like friends hyping up the place
We went for our friends birthday and it’s like we were at home. Our server (Nadine) was wonderful and the ambiance was amazing! Food was delicious and portions were generous!

Went to Chefouichef on Friday evening and we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. We had the "dindon de Naza" which includes smoked turkey tails(Congolese dish),lamb,beef and kwanga(of good quality) as a side. This is the most popular dish and we were not disappointed. I was able to share it with my husband as it's quite a lot of meat but the meat was tender and well marinated. My husband had the seafood pasta and that was delicious! A special shout out to our waitress, Cynthia, who was amazing.She made sure we were comfortable and checked on us regularly. It was also a nice touch to have the chef check if we enjoyed the food. Also have to mention that the prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes you receive. I would highly recommend this restaurant,thank you Chefouichef!

I don’t say this about many places in Montreal, but Chefouichef has a certain energy about it that simply draws you in and makes you feel at home. At the time of this review, they’ve been open for 3 months and are still finding their footing on certain things (some drinks were unavailable, and the organization was at times all over the place), but still managed to captivate my girlfriend and me. Our waitress, Cynthia, always brought in a lot of love despite the busy Valentine’s Day crowd. During the meal, you’ll find all the staff having the same energy and want for you to come back to see them again. The food was amazing. I was slightly concerned about portion sizes before we arrived, but the plates were full and absolutely delicious. We left full and happier than we entered. Thank you for making for an awesome Valentine’s dinner!
