Everything was phenomenal. Never had goat cheese butter; was next level. Hosts were super knowledgeable about the alcohol they serve and Scotches in particular. I had the “full time lover” which was a fruity mixed drink and was so incredibly delicious.

Not a bad spot for a taste of Scotland, with a limited menu. I would say the spotlight for me was the ginger loaf and haggis, the former being similar to toffee cake and not too sweet. Food comes out at an European pace and service was poor, bit distracted. Sunday roast nothing special to speak about.

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the nostalgic ambiance which was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout our entire meal. And then there's the food: hands down the most delicious, authentic fish and chips I’ve ever had in Canada! The fish was perfectly flaky with a light, crispy batter, and the fries were spot-on. If you're looking for great vibes, top-tier service, and amazing food, Restaurant Bruce is an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is amazing; for someone who lived it Scotland it is a tramendous experience! The bread is fabulous. The service is amazing and the fish and chips is the best I have ever have… and I lives in London!

Marvellous experience at Restaurant Bruce for a special family birthday. The staff were incredibly attentive and warm. My water glass was never empty! The food was delicious from the appetizers to the main courses. Nice haggis and yummy desserts. The experience exceeded our expectations. We will go back!

Stumbled across this gem in my third week of moving from the UK to Montreal. What a perfect taste of home. Fish and chips rivals most I've had back home, and the ginger loaf was absolutely incredible. The team were so, so lovely, creating such a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to come back for Burns Night!

Absolutely gastronomical! Beyond delicious! What an exceptional dinner my son and I had. We began with a scotch served with freshly squeezed apple juice… I can’t describe the deliciousness of this drink to salmon served with pickled apples with a mushroom dish and haggis… Absolute perfection! The dessert…from heaven I have found my favorite restaurant!

Their portion / price ratio is absolutely is abusive. I ordered the Poach Salmon - $40 and it was a small slice of fish on a plate with some very nice sauce but nothing else whatsoever. Trout roe is not considered a side in my opinion. No veggies, no rice, no potatoes, nothing. Just a little fish with a little sauce. My partner had the half portion of Haggis, which was fine as it was supposed to be a starter portion. We also had a devilled egg to share, it was literally just one egg. Delicious enough but honestly, considering how skimpy the main portion was, in retrospect, not generous at all. I walked away feeling hungry and violated. I will never ever go back.

One of the most amazing restaurant experiences I will ever have. We had an 8 person walk in and they were incredibly friendly and sat us right down with a fixed menu, even with dietary accommodations. Every bite of the 10+ dishes presented was phenomenal. Prepare to stay for a while and enjoy every bite offered. Will definitely come again, what an amazing place.

This restaurant by Will and Camille is the epitome of comfort food. Being the first of its kind in Quebec, I expected nothing less than the feeling of a Sunday night at Grandma’s—and it absolutely delivered. Everything I tried, from the deviled eggs to the haggis and the evening special—a beautifully cooked lamb shank with cherry glaze and tomato beans—was extraordinary. The service was incredible, and the ginger loaf dessert is an absolute must-try. I strongly recommend this place if you’re looking for a hearty, delicious and comforting meal that leaves you with a full belly!

Food was delicious and the restaurant is adorable! The servers checked in regularly but weren’t intrusive at all, very helpful and kind. I went there with my husband for my birthday and they gave us the mini version of their strawberry, oat, and whipped cream dessert for free. It was probably not something they do regularly but it was very nice. The haggis was fantastic, some of the best I’ve had, and the ginger cake was absolutely phenomenal. In terms of critique, the google listing says dress code is business casual, but the servers are wearing tshirts and ball caps and sweaters, would not be an issue at all except that the guests are expected to dress better than the staff does. The food is obviously expensive, but we went in expecting that. However, my husband ordered the risotto and while it was good, the risotto by itself didn’t have much flavor. With the pickled fennel on top it was delicious but there was very little, not enough to last the whole dish. Atmosphere is being carried by the lighting and decoration, several guests that arrived while we were there had no clue how to behave in a restaurant that nice (loud phone calls on speaker phone, others practically yelling in a dining room that was otherwise quiet, just unnecessary) and the staff did nothing about it. Which I understand, they don’t want to upset their guests, but it put a slight damper on an otherwise wonderful night. Thank you Restaurant Bruce!!

Our server was a treasure to all humanity (sorry again for asking where your accent was from haha) and the food was to die for. I ordered the haggis and the black pudding - both blew me away. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a very nice, a bit more expensive, night out.
