What guests say about Restaurant Bok
Restaurant Bok seems to be appreciated for its tasty Korean cuisine, with dishes often described as excellent, generous, and good value. Frequent favorites include jajangmyeon, tangsu, bean paste noodles, and portions for two, while several also mention friendly service and a warm atmosphere. However, a few reviews note very long service delays, dishes served lukewarm or disappointing experiences, and one comment reports a serious sanitation issue.

It was a huge group that dined in last for a birthday celebration. 9 including kids and we had a reservation at 6pm. I was the only asian on the table (this will be significant later on). ⭐️ Jajjang Lux I never tried it but it was really good ⭐️ The vibesa and layout of the place is fantastic that is why i gave 2 stars. HOWEVER — ❌Service was EXTREMELY SLOW. It took you 2 HOURS to serve us. Server wrote down our orders but still missed on some. What’s the point? ❌There were guests who arrived later than us but got served first?? One table you were drinking and sitting with? While we wrinkle and waited for our food?! PREPOSTEROUS. ❌The restaurant was packed! Good for business eh? But most of them were koreans. They got served first, except for your friends’ table that you just had a toast with. Was our table purposely left out because we are not koreans? In spite of all this I still left a tip. I don’t thnk you deserve it, honestly.
Great confort food!
Cozy, affordable and great food & staff!!
Super good and generous portions especially their combo for 2! One of the best black bean noodles I've tasted in montreal. Will come back for sure
The mussels in the seafood noodle soup were spoiled. My husband took two bites and had to spit it out immediately because of the smell and taste. The next day, my husband had stomach pain and diarrhea. After we returned the dish, they took it back but didn’t bring a replacement for over 20 minutes. When I finally asked if they were making a new one, they responded, “Oh, would you like us to remake it?” This should have been done right away without us having to ask???? We were dining with our two-year-old child, and the long wait made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the service was very poor and disappointing.
Really cool little spot. The price is very fair and the food is dope. Our servings were a little cold (my friend had to ask to re-heat her plate) but besides that, service was immaculate, food came fast, and the vibe was nice and welcoming. Would def recommend!
Wow! Such an amazing experience! The food is very good. I was especially impressed by the bingsu!! By far, the best one we have tried (we had the Biscoff bingsu). We had the Spicy Jampong, the Jajang Noodles and the Tangsu pork with Lychee soju! Would definitely recommend!
Food is amazing, especially their tangsu! Friendly staff and nice service 😊
The combo 1 with 2 Jajang noodle and tangsupork is just perfect for 2 persons! The fried calamari salt n pepper is the bomb!
Lovely food, jajangmyeon is quite frankly amazing. The fried pork is also really good. Their jjamppong could be better, it’s just not as good as the other two.
