This restaurant is a must visit for arabs, very yummy appetizers, salads, kibbeh, and there mains are very good as well, we came all the way from Ottawa to try this place, my only comment was that the place was very loud and crowded but overall enjoyed my time with husband and friends.
Excellent experience through and through. Friendly staff and remarkable food.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. the food was poorly prepared. The flavors were bland, and the presentation was careless. For the price, the quality was far below expectations. The staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional. I will never come back.
The best in town,
I had a pretty average experience at Beroya this time around. I visited a couple of years ago and remember the food being noticeably better in both quality and flavour, so my expectations were fairly high. Beroya is known for Syrian cuisine with an Aleppo-inspired focus, and the venue itself is spacious with a proper bar set-up, so it has the makings of a great night out, but the food just didn’t hit the same on this visit. Parking was available, which was a plus, but the interior is starting to feel tired and could really use a refresh. As for the meal, the knafeh, fattoush and eggplant kebab were disappointing, while the rest of what we tried was acceptable (nothing terrible, just not memorable). Overall, it wasn’t a bad visit, just not as good as it used to be.
I was not convinced this was a good restaurant reading all the different rates here, and I'm glad we tried it. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, tasty and delicious. We took the option degustation as we were a group of 8 and we got a price of 65$ per person. We had 1 salad (fresh and yummy), hummus, labneh with garlic, eggplant moutabbal, yalangy (vine leaves, delicious), cheese rolls, sukuk roll, and a mixed grilled plate, accompanied with fresh pita bread even have a dessert, ice cream with sugar cotton ( that one I didn't like). The portions are very generous. They have good variety of wine and the cherry in the sundae, a violinist playing live. We went on a Friday night, if ever there is a difference in the quality of the meals.
Was a little disappointed, food tasted much better before. Grillade was good at least. Ambiance was nice too.
Excellent food and service! Great for all occassions. Best to reserve a table ahead of time during weekends and holidays.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved this place! The food was fresh and full of flavor, the staff was very friendly, and the service was fast. Will definitely come back.
Listen to Farris’ great recommendations. Outstanding food.
Nestled in the heart of Laval lies a culinary gem that never fails to impress—Beroya Restaurant. From the moment you step foot into this cozy eatery, you're transported on a sensory journey through the vibrant flavors of Lebanese and Syrian cuisine. Recently, I had the pleasure of treating my twin daughters to dinner at Beroya, and from the onset, I knew it was going to be an exceptional experience. Having frequented this establishment before, I was already familiar with the high standard of their fare, but this visit surpassed all expectations. Our meal commenced with an array of appetizers that set the tone for the culinary delight that followed. The tabouleh, a quintessential Levantine salad, transported me back to my childhood with its fresh, herbaceous flavors that mirrored those of my mother's recipe. Accompanying it was the hummus—a true test of authenticity—and I was delighted to find it surpassed my expectations, evoking memories of dinners enjoyed in Lebanon itself. But the delights didn't stop there. We indulged in an assortment of mezze, including perfectly crispy fries, decadent cheese rolls, and an array of other tantalizing dishes that tantalized our taste buds and left us eager for more. For our main course, we opted for the succulent kafta kabob and arayes, and we were not disappointed. The kabobs, bursting with juices and flavor, were grilled to perfection, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs at Beroya. Each bite was a symphony of taste, further enhancing our dining experience. Yet, what truly sets Beroya apart is not only the outstanding quality of its cuisine but also the impeccable service and ambiance. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the attentive care of the staff throughout our meal, every detail was meticulously attended to, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish. As we savored our final bites and reluctantly bid farewell to Beroya, we couldn't help but reflect on an exceptional evening we had just experienced. If you find yourself in Laval and craving authentic Lebanese cuisine, do not hesitate to visit Beroya. With its tantalizing blend of Lebanese and Syrian flavors, it's a culinary journey that's not to be missed. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Everything is so good. Only complaint is they didn't have knefe when we went. Food is always delicious, fresh, and well made. It's great to order a bunch of different plates and share, I feel like that's essential because you can never pick just one dish.
