Staying at this hotel we were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant. It was extremely disappointing. The one saving grace was the great service from the very young staff. Attentive and caring. And the desserts were delicious. Everything else was underwhelming and downright bad. The wine was so foul we had to send it back. The onion soup was not bad tasting but covered under a mountain of croutons. The duck confit was bland and tasted like store bought roast chicken. And the steak frites was tough as shoe leather with soft soggy fries. A complete mess. Either the chef was off tonight or they’ve given up.

Nice place, good food just a pity the waiter disappears when you want to pay and when he eventually brlrigs the bill, disappears again. So easy to fix

Reserved with a note that we had accessibility issues. When we got there, we were told our table was downstairs and there was no elevator. When we mentioned the clearly visible accessory issue - we were treated like that was our problem. One person did try to find a solution (to go through the service elevator in the kitchen) but by this point a waitress had almost knocked the person with a cane over twice. Very rude wait staff. Might be good if you are able bodied. We had to leave.

Disappointing Service I visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy a nice steak dinner during my trip to Québec City. Unfortunately, after being seated and served water, I waited 16 minutes without anyone coming to take my order or check on me. I eventually decided to leave without ordering anything. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a much more attentive dining experience. It was a disappointing way to spend my evening.

Our first anniversary night was unfortunately ruined. We drove from Ottawa to Quebec City specifically to celebrate. But we left with awful services. We ordered a flank steak and a Boston steak. The “flank steak” arrived as a ground beef patty. Our server initially confirmed it was flank steak, but after we asked another staff member, she checked again and admitted that the ground beef steak had been mistakenly served instead of the flank steak. She offered to replace it, but by then our other dish was cold and we had completely lost our appetite. We decided to finish what we had and leave. We came to a top-notch restaurant in a prime location of a touristy city hoping to create a special anniversary memory. Instead, we left extremely disappointed. Mistakes happen, but unfortunately, this mistake ruined a very special night for us.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner at Beffroi Steakhouse on July 25th. The upscale, welcoming ambiance and friendly, attentive service made it a truly memorable evening. We started with the P'tit Mousseux, which set a great tone for the meal. For mains, we had the Teriyaki Sirloin cooked medium and the Steak Frites prepared well-done per our request. The Steak Frites was memorable: tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sides. However, the medium sirloin missed the mark, turning out noticeably chewy despite being cooked to the right temperature. Overall, a lovely atmosphere and fantastic service, though the kitchen execution on the sirloin could use a bit more consistency.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We had the 6 oz sirloin and it was done perfectly. also if you go have the creme brulee it was delicious! Great service also and it was very busy.

We went here on a whim (with two kids). The server was incredibly warm and kind, and went out of her way to put together a dairy-free post-meal treat for our son (more on this below). One of my kids ordered a well-done steak, which is a gamble — a lot of places will bring you a piece of charcoal — but they nailed it. I got the chicken parm, which was exceptional. Anyway, my nine-year-old made me promise to share HIS review, so here it is (pasted without edits) from my Notes app): Right when I walked in, I already had good feelings about this place. I sat down and bread already came. Awesome bread! When my steak was here I took a big bite it was the best well done steak I ever had. It was juicy, tender, and perfect. It came with a super yummy side salad and mouth watering fries. When i was done, i got desert, I couldn’t have anything so the waitress gave me a chocolate covered fruit salad and a chocolate chip cookie they were awesome. Best restaurant ever Super nice waitress Super cool place Five stars, no surprise

Steak was fine but not that special . Ceasar salad was very good! Shrimp lacked flavor for being flambed with orange sauce . And only 2 for 24$… overpriced.

We sat on the bar side. There were two bar tenders where one was clearly being trained. After messing my drink, giving us undercooked fries ans nachos after 1 hour, the server demanded for tip. Expect a tip when your service is satisfactory to you as well. Very shocked and felt attacked. Won't be returning for sure to this restaurant.

Overall very nice, à screaming child lessened the experience somewhat but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
