I full on stopped a work meeting to get a reservation the minute they opened, and was fortunate to snag one… and it was well worth it! The place seats about 24 people, with two amazingly professional and kind servers moving confidently from table to table. Since we were sharing, they recommended the number of items we should order and we were absolutely stuffed, but boy was it worth it. We tried a variety of things like lobster tartelettes, white asparagus, capaletti… everything was fresh and flavourful (but not overly salty either - you could actually taste the ingredients). The lemon tart for desert was the cherry on top, as were the incredible drinks! My mom got a delicious cocktail, and I got a basil mocktail which is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. I hope I’m lucky enough to try this restaurant again one day!

I honestly couldn't have had a better experience, after 4 years of trying to get a table we were finally able to get a spot! This was one of the best european-style eating experiences I've had on this continent. (three hour meal, attentive but not rushed service, well-paced meals, etc) And the food, goodness gracious the food. As someone who's worked in kitchens for most of my adult life, this was a master class of blending beautiful, simple, robust Italian cuisine with the culture of the Quebecois. If I could give this place a 6/5 stars, I would. Big shout out to the entire team at Battuto for doing things right, and looking forward to the next opportunity to dine here!
