I got so hyped with this place due to the 4.8 stars and the tons of reviews, but honestly the reviews are probably bought or something The worker was so nice and talked about it like the best Indian restaurant around. I paid 30$ for a bol of very ordinary rice, a few spices and pieces of chicken. The dish was absolutely not restaurant level, it could have been okay for a quick take out counter food for 10-15$ tops. Would not recommend!

Some of the best food I’ve had in Montreal! We came as a big group for a friend’s birthday and our server was very accommodating, even allowing us to split the bill in a bit of a complicated way and double checking to be absolutely sure our friend with a cashew allergy was safe. The portions were extremely generous too. I ordered the basil chicken tikka (an appetizer, and one of their specials) and it was more than enough for a meal. My friends all got different kinds of curry. Everyone loved their order! The basil chicken tikka was incredibly saucy and garlicky, and just overall delicious. I’ll be returning soon for sure!

Worst experience ever. We went because of good rating and reviews, but no item from what we ordered was good. We wasted our money. I mean if you want to take time, just take it but offer a good food to customer. Please consider before visiting.

Had an amazing experience at Rendez-vous Bistro. Easily among the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. The taste was authentic and reminded us of the food that we used to get back in India. The staff was also really professional and very friendly serving with a smile on their face. Must try.

The food at Rendez-vous Bistro was hot and delicious upon being served. Everything was very flavorful and filled my party up completely. The server, Shaurya, was very kind and patient. Highly recommend!

The food was very good and the atmosphere is nice. I had the butter chicken and murgh Meri Malai. Shaurya gave us great recommendations when ordering and was very nice. I also really liked the Veg Manchurian

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE OR LISTEN TO PAID INFLUENCERS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD. I am genuinely surprised at how high rated this place is....It was absolutely not good at all. I got the dum chicken biryani and murgh rajputani. First bite of the chicken biryani and it tasted bitter and definitely NOT fresh. There was more chicken than biryani, and both the meat in biryani and curry were burnt. Murgh Rajputani didn't taste like anything special, and just a regular curry dish. We didn't finish the food told the waiter it wasn't all that good, he offered dessert for free but...we declined because if the food was bad, i doubt the dessert would have been good.

The food was good and Kitchen take my order at last time of closing I love that But I am very disappointed with the cocktail I paid 18.00$ for a cocktail and I got a small glass ( not even the cocktail size glass the normal water drinking) which was 50%ice and the server who was making the drink he was unprofessional as bartender.i have attached the bill and pictures of glass as proof

I want to begin with food and cocktails. Hans serves up great cocktails, on their menu and others. The beet salad is off the charts! The endive leaf cradling gorgeous golden chunks of beet, with the perfect coating of labneh and herbs. The patates frites. Words really can’t do them justice and if someone finds them, please share. These roasted spuds deliver flavour upon flavour. Unfortunately, the rest of our meal was graciously made to go. But if the starters and service are any indication, one word, amazing. Anyone with a parent suffering from Alzheimer’s may relate. Suffice it to say, things went horribly wrong with my Mom this evening. I would like to apologize on behalf of my mom to Hans, the staff of Rendezvous and their diners, and then thank you so much for your graciousness. This was the first episode of this kind and magnitude I have had with her and I really have no words. I’m sure you all enjoyed what was no doubt a fabulous dinner, I can’t wait for take 2. Thank you Rendezvous

Amazing food. Perfect blends of spices. Unique taste. Gulab Jamun was the best I’ve had in Montreal. Great service. Calm ambiance. Great presentation. Was my first time but will not be the last!

We went there for our anniversary dinner . The place was good , less crowded and less noise. The food — Dahi kebab- 10/10. Tusli paneer-3/10 - paneer was hard and there was barely any seasoning in it. Mushroom matar-4/10 —-onions undercooked, less mushrooms. Gulab jamun- was served warm and delicious. The drinks were okay The service was quick but the food was a little disappointing -not worth the hype

The Paneer Kolhapuri was nice—spicy and flavorful. The Tulsi Paneer Tikka was just okay, but the service was good as well.
