We had a very pleasing and comfortable time all around. The dishes provided were highly savory, and the local folks were remarkably nice. The staff was exceptionally welcoming to us. Viewed as a whole, it was a lovely experience that offered respectable standards at a very fair cost.

Delicious food and excellent customer service! The only way it could have been better would be if the food was hotter, temperature wise. We waited around 15-20 min for a table and we got seated around 1:25pm. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves and our waitress was a sweetheart :)

Delicious meal in a quaint cozy atmosphere with friendly staff . the portions are very generous and beautifully plated. I f you order the eggs Benedict just know that the english muffin is served whole (ie two whole english muffins), not split or toasted on the inside, which I left on the plate. I recommend you ask for it toasted and halved. otherwise the eggs benedict with pulled duck was excellent!

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves a great variety of food, delicious drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly respectful and friendly, and everything we tried was amazing. Their brunch is definitely worth trying — especially the carrot cake, the chip croissants, and the fresh juices. I also absolutely loved the latte. The vibe of the place, the quality of the food, the service, and even the prices were all excellent. Everything was so good, and I genuinely enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommended!

We ordered CHAMPI and mamosa drink. For a group of 5, we paid around $200. There was a long queue, so make sure go plan accordingly. Food was superb, atmosphere 10/10. Must visit in Montreal .

One of my friends recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. I am not a brunch/breakfast kind of guy, but the atmosphere felt regal, almost posh and ready to break the bank. But surprisingly, everything was a great value for what you get. The portions were quite large and made with so much care and thought. From savoury to sweet, and an eggs benny everything was super delicious, super rich, and nothing was more excessive than the other. Flavours were balanced and just the creativity of each item on the plate, satisfied the eyes and our stomachs. I will have to come back one day.

I went to brunch at Café Régine and overall, I’d say the experience was okay. The restaurant definitely has a strong personality and you can tell there’s care put into both the service and the presentation. I also thought it was a nice touch that they offer a complimentary smoothie/juice shot when you arrive. The service was good throughout the experience. The staff seemed hardworking and attentive, especially considering how busy the place gets. The atmosphere is authentic and full of character, although personally I found it a bit chaotic. There’s a lot happening visually — both in the decor and on the plates themselves. That was probably the main issue for me. The dishes are clearly creative and packed with components, but I felt like there was too much going on without the flavors being fully balanced. Some restaurants manage to create complex dishes that still feel harmonious, but in this case, it didn’t really work for my personal taste. I just didn’t connect with many of the flavor combinations they offer. I can absolutely understand why so many people enjoy this place because it truly has its own identity. But for me personally, it’s probably not a brunch spot I would return to.

Had a side of bacon, a mocha cappuccino, and the star of the show the Dor Banana. It was so delicious. I tasted the marscapone and couldn't take a photo. I had to EAT!

I’ve been to Janine Café before (I think it’s the sister to Régine), and I love them both! The food is always amazing, the staff are so warm and welcoming, and the place is beautiful. Definitely some of the best brunch spots in Montreal!

Excellent service with great food. Portions are very generous. Highly recommend to make reservations if possible, however, they reserve most seats for walk in.

Very disappointing experience. We were a group of 7 and were told the wait would be around 30 minutes. We were the first group in the queue and waited patiently. After 45 minutes, a waitress finally asked us to go inside for a table — only to rudely ask us to leave again moments later because she apparently mixed us up with another group of 5. We were pushed back into an already overcrowded waiting area, and eventually had to wait outside in the snow, without any apology or explanation. In the end, we waited over an hour, while the group of 5 behind us was seated before us. Mistakes happen, but the lack of basic courtesy and poor handling of the situation made the experience extremely frustrating. Much better communication and staff training are clearly needed. The service during the dining experience is good, food is fine.
