The food was really good along with a fine-dining like ambience
Great food with authentic Indian flavors. Friendly staff, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Definitely worth visiting again!
Such a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and relaxing — perfect for a nice time with friends or family. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back.
One of the best indian restaurant .Food is very good
I don’t usually write long reviews, but Rasoi honestly deserves it. From the moment we walked in, it just felt welcoming. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles, and there was this amazing aroma of spices in the air that instantly made us excited for the meal. We started with a few appetizers, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The butter chicken was easily one of the best I’ve had — rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced without being overwhelming. The biryani was fragrant and comforting, with tender meat and beautifully cooked rice. And the garlic naan? Warm, soft, and impossible to stop eating. Every dish felt like it was made with care and attention. What really stood out to me was the balance of flavors. Nothing felt rushed or overly heavy — just authentic, home-style Indian food done right. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Even the presentation was lovely without being over-the-top. The service made the experience even better. Our server was friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions and give recommendations. We never felt rushed, and the whole evening just flowed naturally. Rasoi isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place you go to enjoy good food, good company, and a warm atmosphere. It felt comforting and special at the same time. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!
If you’re planning to celebrate a special occasion, I would strongly suggest reconsidering this place. We had an 8:00 PM reservation made in advance, yet upon arrival they were unable to locate it in their system. There was no proper acknowledgment or apology, and the service felt dismissive from the start. I understand it was Valentine’s Day and restaurants can be busy, but the delays were excessive. It took 30 minutes just to take our order. Our main course arrived at 9:50 PM — almost two hours after we were seated. Unfortunately, the food was cold and lacked seasoning. For a fine dining restaurant, you expect at least a quality check, but no one came to ask if everything was okay. The food runner appeared confused and was repeatedly taking dishes back after attempting to serve the wrong tables. When our main course finally arrived, we weren’t even given plates and had to request them ourselves after waiting. What was most disappointing was the lack of apology or accountability. When we asked for the bill, the server did not ask about our experience or thank us. This was my third visit, and unfortunately the second time I’ve experienced poor service. Overall, it was not worth the money and definitely not suitable for a special occasion.
Food is good but recommend to try a different place because the service was INCREDIBLY slow. 3 hour wait time
The service was too slow, ordered 4dishes. 1st dish arrived 35mins after. Waited another 30mins got another dish. On top food was cold. Amazing ambiance. It was valentines day understandable it was busy but could’ve prepared better for the day and had extra staff. Food was not really really great. We order pani puri took more than hour to prepare 🫡
Very disappointing experience. I am a vegetarian and clearly ordered paneer tikka masala over the phone. Despite this, the restaurant sent chicken tikka instead. My partner and I only realized the mistake after taking a bite. When we called the restaurant to inform them, we were told it was not their fault and that it was the kitchen staff’s fault. However, the receipt itself clearly states chicken tikka which we later checked, which shows the order was entered incorrectly from the beginning. Regardless of whose fault it was internally, this is not the customer’s problem. This is not just an order mix-up, it is a food safety issue and a lack of respect for dietary restrictions. For a vegetarian, this kind of mistake is serious and unacceptable. Restaurants must take full responsibility and be far more careful with vegetarian orders.
Lamb biryani was good, butter chicken was really sweet
Use to be my go to Indian but the dishes have been getting worse. Ordered my normal vindaloo and it has no flavour except chili powder, but it’s still not spicy, doesn’t make sense. Biryani is bland too, bawarchis is miles better
