It was nice, but keep in mind if you during their busy time that you will need to flag down your server here and there. Not the end of the world for us though. We also got only 1 menu for a group of 5 people. Overall, we all had a fun time. Food was a bit expensive and the drinks were good. No english menu though and on their website it doesnt translate the whole menu to english only certain things so keep that in mind. Luckily, 4/5 people in my group were bilingual so there were no issues. Lastly, costs $10 per person to play boardgames. Paid around $80 for both my bf and I for 3 alcoholic drinks, 1 pretzel, and 1 ice-cream.

I love this place! Come often with my friends and wife, they have good options for food and drinks. The boardgame selection is pretty good, they have games from very casual party games to some more complex options considering it's a pub/restaurant. The staff is very helpful, they will teach you the gamea and even find you options considering your likes and dislikes which is amazing if you come often ore are a gamer trying to find new games. Sometimes when asking for the complex options it's better to know the game before hand in case the staff doesn't know how to play it, happened to me with zombicide, went 2 times to try it out but the guy who knew it was not there. It makes sense tho, people won't play those 2 hours+ games at Randolph but it's something to have in mind. I know they do events and championships but haven't try them out yet. The shop has a good selection too but sometimes they don't have the game you try on site and send you to the website or other stores. Overall amazing place will keep coming back and bringing new people

I was with my family and saw this place, thinking it was a regular pub. When we went in, we noticed they had a section with games. After we sat down, someone came over to explain the games. We told him, “This is our first time here. Do we have to pay anything for the games?” He replied, “No, it’s all free.” Naturally, we took him at his word. We ordered little gratinée taquitos as an appetizer to share, three hamburgers that were supposed to come with a small salad and fries, and a bottle of wine. We were also expecting to be offered water, as is customary at restaurants, but no water was ever brought to us. The waitress brought everything at the same time. The taquitos were mostly cold lasagna filled with cheap canned tomatoes. The hamburgers came without the salads, and the fries were a greasy, soggy mess. The hamburgers also contained a large, hard piece of what seemed to be frozen, fried chicken. To make matters worse, the noise level was terrible, and we could barely hear or concentrate on the trivia game we had chosen. Then came the bill. To our great surprise, we were charged a $28.50 game fee! Before ordering anything, we had specifically asked whether there was a fee, and we were clearly told that the games were free. Had we been told about the charge upfront, we could have decided whether we wanted to pay it. We would have been much more understanding about the fee if the food and overall experience had been good, but unfortunately, this was probably one of the worst meals we have ever had. The food was absolutely terrible, the service was disappointing, the noise was unbearable, and we were charged for something we had specifically been told was free. To top it all off, the waitress seemed upset that she did not receive a tip. Never again. An absolutely horrible experience.

Went out with some friends. They have a dedicated team that explain the games. The kids played a few board games and us adults played together. Food is good. Portions are big. Great experience

Pros: - Server was awesome, she was very kind, checked in on us frequently and helped us organize our food around the game we were playing. Cons: - Not being allowed to just go get a game and play it SUCKS. We probably wasted a third of our visit just waiting for a "game master" to come see us and bring us a game. And they didn't even come easily, I had to flag one down at one point who was just chilling a the bar chatting with other staff members. - Unlike our server, game masters were not awesome. The first one didn't know how to play the game I requested, which was fine because I did. I didn't need him to explain anything, I just wanted the game, which I told him but which he ignored, then proceeded to stand at my table, read the rulebook and then explain me the game like I didn't know what I was doing. Oh and all the while speaking extremely loudly. The second one spoke to me exclusively in English, even though I initiated our conversation in French and never once said a word to him in English. He spoke to other tables in French but for some reason, I wasn't worthy of his French. I found it very disrespectful and judgemental. I may not have a perfect Quebecois accent but I've been speaking French since I was a toddler and use French as my primary language at work. The game he chose was great and he did a good job explaining it, but I was extremely put off by the interaction. - The food was mediocre at best, nothing to write home about and certainly not a reason to come here. - The table was tiny and made it a real challenge to play a game and have any kind of food or drink. End of the day, I would not come back here or recommend anyone else come.

We had a great time at Randolph tonight! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with picking games and explaining the instructions. Huge shout out to Jo-Annie C. She was incredible and very friendly. Can’t wait to come back again!

Eric our server for 3 hours only came when we arrived and never checked in. I always had to get his attention which was difficult. He did come after 3 hours on his own to ask if he could check us out as he was leaving. Also, plenty of availability tables, however the team did not make us feel welcomed because we did not have a reservation.

I went there for the first time with my boyfriend, and we had so much fun with only one game. The food is good, they have a great selection to eat while playing. The staff is very good at their job too, we will definitely come back :)

We waited about 30 minutes to be seated, but the place was absolutely packed — so we totally understood. It’s clearly a spot people love going to. Even with the wait, it was worth it. We ended up having such a fun night. The energy in the room was contagious — lots of laughter, people fully into their games, just a really lively atmosphere. If you go during a busy time, just be patient. The staff are doing their best and still take the time to explain the games, which we appreciated. It also helps to arrive with a rough idea of what kind of games you enjoy so you can jump in faster. The food was good, and overall the vibe made the whole experience memorable. A little chaotic, yes — but in that happy, everyone’s-having-fun kind of way. I’d definitely go back with friends.

Good place to go try new board games, however, not worth it for just 1-1.5h as you need to pay to go in. The food is very disappointing. We had the classic and decadent burgers and they were both too greasy and not great. The fries were saggy. I ordered a mocktail and it was way too sweet, couldn’t even drink it. I don’t think we’ll be back, unless if we really want to discover new board games.

I love this place for the concept! Boardgames with friends and family is always fun to me. It’s a chance to try new games and learn. I found the employees very sweet and kind. The food was OK. I ordered a burger and it was tasteless. First time I’ve added salt to a beef patty haha The main focus is not the food! Chocolate cake was rich. Loved it. Other wise the cider is good and atmosphere very fun!
