The food I had was good and the service was great.
Reviews / Ratings for Ramen Isshin Verdun
The broth was flat and almost tasteless, which was disappointing given the positive reviews. I definitely do not recommend it.
It was soo good i really like
Ramen is good specially the Kotteri Rich Shoyu Ramen and the Kotteri roasted garlic. Bouncy noodles with rich pork-based soup. Loved the Age Tofu and seafood okonomiyaki. I gave only 4 stars as it is a little bit higher in terms of price compared to other ramen places in Montreal. Seats are limited and paid street parking only.
Great and quick service! The workers were extremely helpful and nice. Our food and drinks tasted amazing! Overall the place was really cozy and parking was easy ☺️
All around pleasurable. Definitely deserves more visits
Very good ramen. Would definitely go back.
Soo good The drinks were amazing
Overall, a decent spot for ramen. Solid food, nice service and visually presented well.
I would give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It’s a decent ramen spot overall, but nothing particularly extraordinary stands out about it. The broth was flavorful enough and comforting, especially on a cold day, but it didn’t have the deep richness or complexity that makes a bowl truly memorable. The noodles were cooked properly with a good texture, though fairly standard compared to other ramen places in Montreal. This is the first time I had ramen with mung bean sprouts. The toppings were fresh and well-prepared, but again, pretty typical—nothing that elevated the bowl. Service was friendly and efficient, which definitely added to the positive aspects of the experience. Overall, it’s a reliable option if you’re craving ramen in Verdun.
Far from being the best ramen in the city imo. The meat portions are pathetic and the rest tastes a little off (smells off too). If you want good ramen in verdun, I recommend Iku ramen.
Ramen was very tasty! Wasn’t a huge fan of the fully electronic ordering but it was a very mild inconvenience compared to how well the food tasted!
We came here for late lunch on Sunday. It was cold inside! Freezing! We ordered the shoyu ramen. The garlic oil was tooo much! When I mixed it, the broth became black and bitter. Too bad. I think without th garlic oil , the ramen would have been better.
Great ramen! Quick service. Good price!
Been to Japan 3 times and this is best ramen I've had in Montreal. Strong recommend
