Loved our first visit to Ramen Isshin! The broth of the shoyu was delicious and the pork belly was amazing! The only thing “missing” is homemade noodles. If the noodles were homemade I think Isshin could give Yokobai a serious run for their money. We’ll definitely be back!

I visited the other night and left completely impressed. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and easily some of the best I’ve had in the city. What really stood out, though, was the service. I had my toddler with me, and our server went out of her way to make things easier she brought a small bowl and spoon for him right away and was incredibly patient throughout our meal. Thoughtful touches like that make all the difference. Highly recommend this spot, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit.

My father and I are regulars here, every time we get great service. The ramen is the best in the west, as is the karagge. Highly recommended. Clean and fresh. Must visit.

Went there for lunch today. Service is incredible Food was delicious We were 3 adults Took 1 large red miso and shared it. Accompanied with 4-5 entrees that we shared Gave us a chance to taste a little of everything Tickets time is excellent We loved everything we tried Ample parking Clean place Attentive waitress that cared Would go back anytime Highly recommend!

I ate dinner at Ramen Isshin for the first time last night with my wife and 2 young kids. We might have found our new favourite restaurant!It's rare that I try a new place and find absolutely nothing to complain about (yeah, I'm like that). Even places I like and go to often are not spared my critiques. Ramen Isshin though.... is damn near perfect.The place itself is very tastefully and stylishly decorated. It was immaculately clean as well. Even the dishes (plate and bowls) were beautiful and matched the decor perfectly.The service was truly exceptional. Our server had a genuine smile on her face the whole time we were there and gave us a detailed and well informed explanation of the entire menu and even had really good suggestions to optimize our meal, and the price for us! She had a suggestion for the kids that they loved!! I should mention that my kids have a couple of favourite restaurants that they always want to go to, but last night they both agreed that this is their new top spot!I had the Red Dragon ramen. It was the "spicy" option. I would say the heat level was low, but not in a bad way. It just wasn't very "spicy". However, it was FULL of flavour! The broth was rich and delicious; the noodles were hearty and felt home made, and the meat was tender and delicious. We also tried the raw octopus with wasabi appetizer, which was also delicious. I'm pretty sure I'll eventually try everything on their menu.Overall, this place is just an absolute gem! If I really dig around for a complaint (which is how I roll), I'll say that getting around in that neighbourhood sucks. Can't turn left anywhere. That being said, obviously not their fault and if I weren't so stubborn I could have just used my GPS.Ramen Isshin. Try it.
