We recently visited Ram Sweet Shop in LaSalle. The food was overall quite good, though we found the flavors to be a bit on the sweeter side. The staff was very friendly and provided great service throughout our visit. However, the experience was let down by the state of the washroom. The wash basin was choked and almost overflowing, which was disappointing to see. If they can improve the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities, it would be a 5-star experience. Great for the food and service, but hopefully, the maintenance issues get addressed soon!

I’ve gone to this place a few times. The first time, I had the channa masala which I wasn’t able to eat because it was like putting a spoon of salt in my mouth. Except for the channa masala, the food here is great and reasonably priced. They have the best samosa!

I recently ordered a vegetarian tiffin after a long and tiring day at work. The two sabjis were actually good , which I really appreciated. However, I was quite disappointed with the rotis. They did not seem fresh at all and felt like they were made a long time ago. I was very hungry, so I managed to eat only one roti, but I couldn’t finish the rest because of the quality. I would kindly suggest improving the freshness of the rotis, as many people order tiffin after a full day of work and expect a fresh, comforting meal at the end of the day. Thank you.

Honestly, this has to be one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The food was nowhere near acceptable. The bread pakoras were literally undercooked raw from the inside like did anyone even bother checking before sending them out? You can see in pictures And the red sauce tasted so weird, I couldn’t even figure out what it was supposed to be. Then comes the channa bhatura and wow, the pickle was a joke. The lemon in it was completely raw, like they just cut it and threw it in without any preparation. It honestly felt like zero effort was put into anything. And let’s talk about the order itself no cutlery, no napkins, absolutely nothing. Not even the bare minimum. What makes it worse is that I specifically called and clearly requested properly cooked food and asked them to include cutlery. But clearly, listening is not their strong point. The customer service? Even worse. The girl who picked up the call was unbelievably rude. No greeting, no basic manners, nothing. It felt like she was doing me a favor just by answering the phone. Overall, it felt like the entire experience was handled carelessly from cooking to packaging to customer service. If this is their standard, then they seriously need to rethink what they’re doing. Completely frustrating and disappointing. And the worst part? This isn’t even the first time I’ve had such a bad experience with them which makes it even more unacceptable.

Despite that, there was nothing — no spoon, no napkin, nothing at all. To make matters worse, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude. She didn’t even bother with basic courtesy — no hello, no thank you, no goodbye. It honestly felt like she was being forced to do her job. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I’m genuinely upset with both the food quality and the service. Completely disappointing.
