However, we would like to clarify that, in accordance with régulations in Québec, animals are not permitted inside food establishments, with the exception of service dogs. This rule is governed by the MAPAQ food Regulation (chapter P-29, r. 1) specifically section 3.2.1, in order to ensure food safety and sanitation. Our employee was therefore applying this mandatory regulation , which is beyond our control. Additionally, it is important to note that the employee had to communicate with you in English, which is not their first language. It is therefore possible that some nuances in the communication may have been perceived from the original intention. That said, we sincerely apologize if the situation came across as impolitesse. This is not the level of service we arrivé to provide. We will follow up with our team to ensure that situation like this are handled with greater care and courtesy.
