Had a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious with authentic Delhi-style flavors. We ordered Kadai Paneer, Dal Makhni, Tandoori Roti and Rice. Everything was fresh, flavourful and perfectly cooked. We specifically asked for spicy food and they got it just right! The ambience was warm and welcoming and the service was excellent throughout. It genuinely felt like having food back in India. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic North Indian taste!

Had the best Malai Chaap I’ve had in Canada at Punjab Canteen. The food was genuinely outstanding, and you can tell a lot of care goes into both the taste and presentation. The service was amazing throughout, and the overall vibe of the place made the experience even better. Loved the aesthetics, music, and location — everything felt lively and well put together. If you enjoy good North Indian food and a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Had ordered 2 pani puris and a bunch of other stuff. The salt in the pani puri water was soo salty that we couldn't use it. Plus look at the burger that they sent in the replacement of grilled sandwich. Bun was soo soggy and the chicken wasn't even cooked well. Had cramps after eating it. Had to stop midway eating it. The portion of pani puri filling was so small that even for one person wasn't even satisfactory. If you order 2 pani puris there's no way they would send you the separate water. It would be in one and the portion size of that would be reduced too. Never eating from this place.

We visit this restaurant a lot of times and the food is always great but this one particular time we were served by this person named Babbu! He not only served us but made the best parathas in the world, our mom was visiting from India and she said those were one of the best parathas she’d had in a while! He told us later that he made them home style for us!

Disappointed. Coming back after a couple of months. The service quality used to be really good last year. Definitely doesn't feel the same way now. Now the staff is really slow and they don't care about the clients satisfaction. It's sad, because it used to be one of my favorite places. However there are some changes in the food quality and the service used to be what it made the difference.

We recently hosted a party at this restaurant, and everything was absolutely perfect. Had an amazing experience at Punjab Canteen Beaubien during the Lohri celebration. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and cooperative throughout the event. The food was absolutely authentic Punjabi; rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. The butter chicken truly stood out, one of the best I’ve had in MTL. A big thank you to the entire team for the excellent service, warm hospitality, and a memorable Lohri celebration.
