A member of the staff at our hotel suggested this place for a simple dinner. We were very pleased with our burgers, Scotch eggs, soup and salad. The place was very busy but we had friendly and efficient service. The atmosphere is very “pub-ish” but still has an old world charm.

What a cool pub! The exposed brick walls, cozy atmosphere, and old-world charm make you feel like you’ve stepped into a traditional pub somewhere in Europe. The front bar is definitely where you want to be! It’s lively, buzzing with energy, and has that authentic pub feel. There are plenty of TVs throughout both the bar and the more traditional dining room. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a seat in the front bar, which is where we really wanted to be to soak up the atmosphere. The dining room didn’t have quite the same energy, but we still had a great experience! And whatever you do, order the pot pie!! The pastry is absolutely to die for. Hands down the best pot pie I’ve ever had! We’d definitely return, but next time we’re heading straight for the bar!

Absolutely loved this place. I ordered the shakshuka, and it was genuinely the best I've ever had. The server was really lovely and kind. A cozy spot with great food and great service ✨💛 I'll definitely be back for the lunch/dinner menu.

Visited on a Sunday night around 8pm to get some dessert as we were celebrating my mom's birthday that day. We were seated at the bar and enjoyed two glasses of bubbly while splitting a piece of the Basque cheesecake (wow) and the last piece (phew!) of carrot sticky toffee cake. That caramel sauce?! Heaven. Fantastic service and great atmosphere. This was our first time here and we can't wait to visit again, this time for a meal!

Amazing place! Food and service were top notch and would totally recommend. Having had less that desirable meals at other places in Montreal over the past few days, Wolf and Workman was a lovely change and very reasonable for the excellent quality food. Big shout out to Alexa and Lucy and everyone else we met last night ! We will be back!

Amazing beef stroganoff pot pie!! Highly recommend going and if I get the chance to go back I will be trying the other pot pies on their menu 👍 Be sure to note it's a minimum 25 minute wait but well worth it!

Really cool pub! They make excellent drinks and the pub itself is really cool looking. Nice bar area, outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely worth checking out!

I showed up on a rainy night when the Habs were playing so it was really busy. But the hostess found me a seat and I had wonderful drinks and some fantastic food. I watched them turn many people away who showed up after me. They had lots of staff working and everyone was busy, helpful and friendly. I didn't have room for dessert so will need to visit again next time I'm in Montreal.

We were looking for a place to watch premier league football which had been surprisingly difficult to find, and were pleasantly surprised the folks here were able to turn it on. Later we realized this is the sister bar to the Burgundy Lion where we had planned to watch Liverpool. Happy to report that both bars are exceptional. The Wolf & Workman has a delicious Dirty Chai Martini and the espresso martinis were also great and the food and drinks at Burgundy Lion were fantastic. Highly recommend both pubs.
